April: Or take him to a new one that he hasn’t beentoo.
I started to panic as I thought about going to dinner. Would we look…different? Would it be date-like, and would he try to hold my hand? Could I handle that? He hasn’t tried holding my hand at any of the parties he’d hosted or the one we went to. I’m not sure I could handlethat.
Ryan: He’s probably been to all of the restaurants, at least all of the niceones.
Kim: Pick one helikes.
April: Or get a room at one of the hotels and order room service and have a wildnight.
Kim: Or take foodin!
Suddenly, I got really excited about theidea.
Ryan: Yeah! LikeTacos!
April: A tacobar!
But then we just got goofy aboutit.
Ryan: I could make a taco bar and just sit inbed.
April: I’d enjoythat.
Ryan: Or put the taco bar onhim!
We sent back the laughing emoji and gifs about taco bars. I came to my senses, though. A nice dinner out would probably be the best. Though, the idea of setting up a taco bar on Russell was still entertaining tome.
I sent a link to the girls of one of the nicer restaurants at the hotel I worked at. This restaurant was always busy, and people raved aboutit.
Ryan: Take a look at the menu and tell me what youthink.
Kim: The dining atmosphere looks great. Upscale, modern, andclassy.
All things that describedRussell.
April: The menu looksphenomenal!
Kim: Yes!Yum!
When the girls started to list out what they’d have to eat, even down to wine selection, I knew that this place would be perfect. I called the restaurant and made a reservation for two. When I got off the phone, the girls were still talking about thefood.
Ryan: Okay! Reservationsmade!
I was proud of myself. This was also a big step for me. But it was forRussell.
April: Way to go Ry-Guy. He’s going to loveit.
Kim: And you’ll probably get rewarded forit.
I smiled and felt my cheeks getwarm.
April: What are you going towear?
Kim: Yes, let’s get the attire settled. What do you have,Ry?
Ryan: I don’t know. Jeans maybe and asweater?
April: RyanHudson!
