“Underwear. No shirts,” hecountered.

“Okay.”

I started to lead the way to my bedroom when he stopped me by grabbing myarm.

“Do you trust me, Ryan?” heasked.

I looked into his eyes. I knew that I had nothing to fear with Russell. Ever. A panicked feeling came over me when we walked into my room, and I stared at my bed; my simple, no frills, full-sized bed. It was no match for Russell’s luxurious, king-sized bed. His bed was the most comfortable bed I had ever experienced. Quickly, I tried to remember when the last time was that I had washed mysheets.

“Ryan.”

I dragged my eyes away from my bed and stared atRussell.

“Relax.”

I nodded and pulled my shirt off, and my pants followed. Out of the corner of my eye, I was able to see Russell as he stepped out of his pants. I didn’t look at him so I wouldn’t make him uncomfortable. Maybe it was more for my benefit because Russell was comfortable withhimself.

Russell looked like he was deep in thought so I didn’t dare interrupt. I was fine not laying down. He glanced at my nightstand and then he looked at me before he crossed the room to his bag. As he searched his bag for something, I couldn’t help but notice how muscular his back was. I don’t know how I hadn’t noticed before, but it was rare that his back was tome.

Russell turned around and had something thin and flat in his hands along with his cellphone.

“Ryan, sit on the floor by your nightstand and lean your back against yourbed.”

I followed his instructions, and as soon as I was in place, Russell sat down on the edge of the bed and swung a leg over me. Now his legs were on either side of me, and he leaned forward so that his chest could touch my head. In front of me, he held his cell phone. The screen was illuminated with the image he sent me thismorning.
