KnotMyProblem: anyway
KnotMyProblem: Baby battalion leaders Emily and Nikki spent the evening organizing games for the older babies while the younger ones enjoyed cuddle time with Matthew, who at that point I considered a peace offering. There was no getting him out. The baby battalion had claimed him as their own
KnotMyProblem: I spent the rest of the night on high alert, anticipating another attack, but it never came
KnotMyProblem: The inhospitable conditions of too much excitement and a late night resulted in the baby battalion crashing on the couch while snuggled up together
Gwynning: It was really sweet to see them all asleep like that
Gwynning: They were all tucked around Matthew, who was sleeping too
KnotMyProblem: And thus, with them defeated by sleep, I was able to regain control of my household, although the floors have never quite been the same
xVerity: Have you been drinking all your mineral spirits, Knot?
KnotMyProblem: haha
KnotMyProblem: No
KnotMyProblem: I'm just busy, is all. I've been interviewing all week, and I'm too exhausted to scrub floors AND spend quality time with my family, so floors have come second
TeenDad2: Aww, that's so sweet!
TeenDad2: You're a good Dad, Knot <3
Gwynning: He is
KnotMyProblem: I try
GlitterDoctor: Well, that was a riveting performance
GlitterDoctor: The next time you tell it, can you do it in the style of an old-timey detective movie?
TeenDad2: YES
LoveHarley: lol
KnotMyProblem: I'll see what I can do

Curious in Dallas: How do you start a glitter war and win?
KnotMyProblem: Ah, an age-old question
KnotMyProblem: Some philosophers have been debating this very thing for thousands of years
TeenDad2: By “some philosophers” Knot means himself
GlitterDoctor: Similarly, by thousands of years, he means a few months
Gwynning: There is no winning in war
KnotMyProblem: And THAT is where you're wrong, Gwynn
KnotMyProblem: That's just what losers say
