GlitterDoctor: You don't get to be so fabulous without carrying around some baggage. I mean, where else would I keep my glitter?

KnotMyProblem: See, the good thing about being an asshole is that I'll legit punch the shit out of other assholes for you without giving a single fuck

KnotMyProblem: And, bonus, I can personally attest that Gwynn will also punch the shit out of assholes, so if you need someone punched, have we got some fists for you

Gwynning: I prefer not to punch people, but if the need arises… I guess I can make an exception

GlitterDoctor: Thanks, guys

GlitterDoctor: For the record, my favorite childhood memory is when my mom saw Simon for the first time after giving birth. She was so happy she was crying, and her boyfriend was there beside her, his hand on her back, and he was crying, too. It was the first time I remember seeing her look like that. The man she was with when she had me never made her smile.

TeenDad2: That's so sweet, but also sad

TeenDad2: Does that mean that you and Simon are half brothers?

GlitterDoctor: No, we’re brothers

GlitterDoctor: I don't give a shit about blood

xVerity: I understand what you mean.

GlitterDoctor: My mom never married her boyfriend, and he might not have biologically been my dad, but none of that matters. Hewasmy dad. He loved me just as much as he loved his own sons, and I'll miss him forever just the same as I miss my mom

TeenDad2: Glit…

TeenDad2: Next time I see you, I'm gonna give you the biggest hug

GlitterDoctor: It's okay, TD. Sorry to get all sad up in here

GlitterDoctor: Who else has a childhood memory they'd like to share?

Gwynning: My family took a beach vacation when I was young. It was my first time seeing the ocean, and I remember standing barefoot in the sand looking out on the horizon while water washed over my feet. It was the first time I realized how big the world is, and how small I was in comparison. I found a shell in the sand and took it home, and it's been with me ever since. Every now and then I'll find it forgotten in the drawer, or tucked away on a shelf, and it always reminds me of that moment and the wonder I felt in it

TeenDad2: That's really beautiful

xVerity: How old were you?

Gwynning: Eight, I think

Gwynning: It's hard to remember

KnotMyProblem: Being old does that to people, or so I hear

Gwynning: Thanks

TeenDad2: My favorite childhood memory is kind of a mix of different times I spent with my cousins. Playing in the pool in the backyard of Aaron's childhood home, climbing the trees down the street while somehow managing not to break every bone in our bodies, and having everyone come to where I grew up so we could play out in nature. I remember camping in the backyard with my brother, too

TeenDad2: and like, as an older kid, falling for Aaron and sneaking off to do stuff with him… but that probably doesn't count

TeenDad2: If it does, then I guess we can count having Bo as my favorite childhood memory, even though it was scary. I fell in love with him right away

GlitterDoctor: That brings up a good point—when do we stop being kids? Because I've turned twenty-nine several times now and have a baby of my own, and I still don't feel like an adult

xVerity: The concept of adulthood is an illusion meant to make children believe in life for as long as possible, like Santa Claus or the tooth fairy.

xVerity: The truth is, there is no magical age when you'll suddenly start to feel like you have your life together. You can achieve tremendous success and still feel like you're being held together by a shoestring.

Gwynning: Truth
