Jayne squeezed his eyes shut and collected his thoughts. There was no reason for him to tell the Single Dadseverything.He could weasel his way around the fact that he was staying with not one, but two incredibly handsome men who’d both expressed interest in him. In fact, they didn’t need to know he was staying with men at all.
GlitterDoctor: Last Saturday on my way back to my place after picking up Parker from Gwynn’s, I discovered my apartment building was on fire, and I had to find somewhere else to stay. It turns out the floor I live on and the floor beneath it were totally gutted. They’re still investigating what happened.

TeenDad2: Bo told me that he’d gone out on an adventure and seen your house burn down, and that he wanted to give Parker some blankets and toys, but I thought he was taking a game of pretend with his uncles too seriously. They go out on ‘adventures’ all the time, and most of the time he talks about them like they really happened. FUCK!!!

GlitterDoctor: Yeah, I’m alive. I found somewhere to stay and I spent the last week working on getting the documents I lost in the fire reissued. Our birth certificates, my SSN, Shep’s report cards and my school transcripts, my degrees…
It really was a lot, wasn’t it? Until Jayne listed it out, he hadn’t realized how big of a challenge he was facing.
