He was getting Elijah pregnant.

They were going to get pregnant, and Silas wanted nothing more than to see Elijah swell up, knowing it was him who’d made him that way.

Elijah’s body pulsed around Silas’ cock, squeezing against his knot. Dull pleasure flowed though Silas’ groin and through his body. The afterglow of orgasm set in.

With a purr, Elijah sank down over him and locked his arms around Silas’ neck. His skin was sweaty, but Silas couldn’t bring himself to care. He wrapped his arms around Elijah’s sides and held him close, and after a brief moment, he rolled them over so they relaxed side by side. Silas’ knot remained lodged.

Elijah claimed his lips in a lazy kiss, and as their mouths opened, Silas pushed his tongue into Elijah’s mouth and tasted him. Dull lust lit anew in his stomach. After his knot went down, Silas knew he’d still be erect. Another load weighed heavily in his balls, and he wanted to share it with the omega in his bed.

He was going to lose his job. He was going to be forced out of the industry.

He was going to be afather.

Their tongues twisted lazily together, and Silas pushed his hips to sink into Elijah that much deeper. The knot prevented them from slipping apart, but Silas found he could still move inside of Elijah if he was careful.

“So horny for you,” Elijah whispered when their lips parted. “Wanted you so bad since day one.”

“Wanted you, too,” Silas whispered back. “Gonna be a family now. I’m gonna keep you safe no matter what.”

Elijah hummed against his lips, kissing him again. In that moment, the problems they faced didn’t matter. There was simple comfort in Elijah’s body, and Silas distracted himself in it. There would be time to worry later.

“You’re not upset we’re gonna have a baby?” Elijah asked. They kissed again, long and slow. When their lips parted, Silas replied.

“Never.”

“Then you’ll knot me again, when this knot is done?” Elijah asked in a soft voice. “Want you. Gotta work off my heat.”

Silas huffed a laugh against Elijah’s lips. With a shallow thrust of his hips, he pushed his knot in further. Elijah moaned in response.

“We have the rest of the afternoon. I have to get you back by five.”

“That’s long enough,” Elijah replied. His arms tightened around Silas’ neck, and he rolled them over so Silas lay on top of him. “Want it this way next. Okay?”

“More than okay.” With a smile, Silas kissed the corner of Elijah’s lips and thrust into him slowly as Elijah hummed and squirmed beneath him.

Change was frightening. Silas didn’t know what the future held, or how he was going to make it work, but as long as he had Elijah to balance him out and keep him focused, he was sure that everything would work out for the better.

After a lifetime spent alone, he’d found budding love.

No job was going to stop him from pursuing it.
