Chapter 2

Julian

“Now you can calm your ass down and get used to the idea of it being just me and you. No phone for you to stare at instead of me.”

She looked confused. “I don—” she started.

“You do. But it’s cool.” I stopped her rebuttal, then ducked to peck her lips again.

“Now, c’mon. I’m fucking starving.” I moved before she could say anything else. I had already said too much. By now she was probably aware I paid her more attention than I ever led on.

I grabbed the key card from the table and stood by the door, watching her fumble through her thoughts. Soon enough she’dshare them with me freely, so I didn’t have to wonder what she was thinking.

We were on the top floor where rooms were, but below us was a lot going down. I used to come here with Elisa, but when things with us got rocky, places like this became a thing of the past.

With my hand on the small of her back, I led Amaris to the elevator and we stepped on. A few seconds later, we stepped onto the second floor. Then I let her waist go and grabbed her hand, pulling her behind me toward the bar’s entrance.

“So, what is the purpose of this again? And what floors are we visiting?” she asked, those curious hazel eyes on me when she put the brochure for the weekend down.

“Probably three, four, and five. As long as you’re comfortable.” My eyes rested on her much longer than they should have. Amaris was fucking beautiful, something I had been taken aback by from the very first moment I laid eyes on her at the firm. She had this look that housed an innocence that sent quakes all over my body.

“Okay.” She shrugged then sipped from her strawberry margarita. “Do you do this every year?”

My eyes left the sight of her beautiful neck and locked with hers. “Used to, but life gets busy.”

She nodded and I hoped she didn’t have any more questions. I’d answer them, but I would rather show her.

“Last question.”

I glanced up from my drink with a smirk on my face. “Shoot.”

“What level are we visiting tonight?” she asked, those hazel eyes glossing the room before landing on me.

“Depends, but I wanna make this shit interesting. A competition, if that’s what you wanna call it.”

She leaned forward against the table, giving me the perfect visual of those perfect breasts held hostage by her white V-neck.

“Tonight, I wanna explore every part of you. I want to see what makes you climb a fucking wall, if I can. Not to mention how many times I can. I want you to fully submit to me in a way you’ve never submitted to another. I want every single part of you to belong to me this weekend.”

“Where is the competition?”

“Then tomorrow you get to do the same. However you want, within reason.”

She smiled. “Bondage?”

“If that’s what you want,” I answered with joy in my soul.

She giggled. “Question, even though I can tell my questions make you uncomfortable…”

“Shoot.”

“Why me? Why did you invite me to come here with you this weekend?” She ended her sentence with a lick of her lips.

My answer was simple but I decided not to give it just yet. “Why not you?”

She tilted her head to the side, those beautiful wide eyes giving me a brief glare before they softened. “I asked you first.”

I chuckled at how uneasily moved she was. Though quiet, Amaris was a force. It was obvious in her eyes early on and the subtle confidence she often played down. I noticed too much about this woman. “It’s easy. I’m extremely attracted to you and have been for a while.”
