“Yea. We came up with little names for one another when he was here a few weeks ago.”

“I see.”

“Cool dude. He’s great for Liz.”

“He is.”

“Well, enough chitty chatty. I say, you and me put our bags in the room, let the guys sort it out while you and I head out to the beach,” Knox coos.

“Tide is starting to come back in. I printed off the schedule and posted it on the fridge in the kitchen. You all just struck me as taking morning bike rides on the beach kind of people. Unfortunately, they don’t have a bike built for five. Assholes.” Beckett chuckles. “High tide is around seven thirty tonight, so don’t get caught.”

“That will give us a couple of hours. And if we get stuck, we’ll just swim back.”

“Says the SEAL. Is your ass going to let me perch up on your back to swim us both home?”

He loops his arm around my waist, dips me backward, and holds his face inches from mine. “Love, you can perch anywhere you want on me and ride me whenever you want.” He kisses my nose, then pulls me back up to standing.

“Shit. I really wish I had my BINGO card handy.”

“It shouldn’t start until after dinner… or at least until everyone else knows about it.”

“Where’s the fun in that, sis?”

“Sis.” Knox oohs, clasping his hands together under his chin.

“Let’s go. I just need to change and I’ll be ready. Give me ten?”

“Seconds? You got it. I’ll be outside on the deck waiting.”

KNOX - SEX ON THE BEACH

Man,Ilovethesmell of the ocean air and the way it feels on my skin. The heat of the sun coupled with the constant breeze blowing through my hair makes me feel relaxed and at ease. It’s like being here just breathes life back into me.

Turning my ear to the wind, I hear seagulls ha-ha-ha in the distance and see them circling in a flock around a poor unsuspecting child, no doubt carrying a piece of bread or something around on the beach.

“Are you going for a walk?” Will asks, climbing into the pool, taking a seat on the bench looking out at the ocean.

“Yea. Ev and I.”

“Hint… walk in the direction that is against the wind, that way when you turn around it will be at your back. Trust me. We went on a run earlier and made the mistake of running with the wind on the first leg. Ran ten miles quick. Probably would have broken a record had we been keeping time, but running back.” He points at the hot tub. “It’s why I’ve been alternating between the pool and the hot tub. I’m so sore. I didn’t think we were going to make it for a bit. All that to say… walk against the wind so when you’re tired and on your way back, it will help to push you along instead of fighting against you.”

“Thanks man.”

“You ready, babe?” Ev asks, bouncing out of the house in nothing but a triangle top string bikini.

Fuck me.

I swear to God if she runs and those perky little breasts of hers join in, I’m dead. I have no self-control with her. It’s impossible. When I look behind her, Jax and Callum are standing with their arms crossed with smug looks on their face.

Emmett is still going through all the groceries with Beckett. The menu for tonight is lasagna. Liz and Everlee planned every detail down to the dinners and the lunches for the week. They were talking about going out to dinner for a couple of nights, but trying to get a reservation for a party this large proved troublesome and Emmett, fortunately, loves to cook.

Trying to help, Lizzy and Ev took Tuesday. Taco Tuesday. And also took Thursday. It’s breakfast for dinner. They said they didn’t want everyone to get used to five star dining every night.

Ev loops her arm in mine and looks at me.

“Yes. I’m ready.”

“Thank goodness. I needed to get out of the kitchen. Beckett and Emmett are talking about the different kinds of pasta.”
