“I told her I was going to wear out that name too with all the inappropriate shit she says.”

“It’s only a problem for you when you’re in front of your guys. I bring my whole self to all situations. You’re the fucker that changes,” she snaps back, face full of sass.

“I get this for an entire week. I’m so excited,” Jax says deadpan.

“Jaxxy poo,” Lizzy says, walking over to him with open arms.

He holds his arm out, pressing his palm against her forehead, stiff arming her.

“I have a week to woo you.”

“You’ll need more than that, darling.”

“You’ve just called me darling. Step one complete. Call each other pet names.”

“Fuckin’ hell,” he groans, dropping his arm and walking towards the house.

Will is waiting for us at the door with his shirt off and bathing suit on, looking like he just got out of the pool.

“How is it?” I ask, giving him a quick hug before walking inside.

“Amazing. I heard Beck out here, so I won’t repeat what he said. But amazing. We took a walk on the beach after we got all the groceries unloaded, then were in the pool when you all arrived.”

“Hope it’s still-”

I cut Lizzy off. “Lizzy. Do you want to go pick out a room?”

“Oh,” Will chimes in, holding a finger up so we all turn to look at him. “Beck and I took the room down here, and then we figured Tony and Liz will take the room to the left of the stairs on the second floor. It has its own bathroom, then down the hall to the right of the stairs are the other rooms. We figured you all would want to pick out one or several. The one at the very end is the main room with an enormous bathroom and walk-in shower.”

“Could this get any better? I don’t have to go grocery shopping, or put up all the food. I basically have my room assigned and have my own little wing…” Lizzy jumps up and down, squealing. “Tony and I are going to put our things down and relax. We’ll be down in an hour or so.” She winks over her shoulder as she drags Tony upstairs.

“My bingo card didn’t have you having sex first! Totally thought that was going to be Everlee,” Beckett yells after her.

“That’s your first mistake of the day, boo boo brother!” She yells from upstairs.

“Do you really have a BINGO card?” Knox pops into the conversation.

Beckett looks at him and then at me with a sly grin on his face. We used to do BINGO cards when we were growing up and taking long road trips, but we haven’t done one of those in a while. “Maybe…”

“Did you?” I hit his chest, the palm of my hand catching his peck just right, causing the perfect sting. “Shit, sorry.”

“Fuck. Be. Aggressive. B-E aggressive, why don’t you?” he cheers.

“Sorry. You know I get slappy when I get happy.”

Knox nods in agreement. “True story. I flinch now anytime I tell someone good news… or bad news… or any news at all, really.” He flinches. “See.”

Looping my arm around his waist, I pull him in for a hug. “I’m sorry.”

He turns, brushing his lips on my ear and whispers, “It’s ok. I like it.” He tilts his head down and kisses on the side of my neck.

Beckett checks the time on his watch. “Sweet! Mark out a spot for Everlee is kissed within ten minutes of being here.”

“I want to see the BINGO card. I know you have one.”

“I made some for all of us. Well, teams. It’s Everlee and her men, Will and I, and Lizzy and T man.”

“T man?”
