It’s just Emmett.
It’s always been just Emmett.
Well, Emmett and Everlee. She is everything to me. It’s like she brings out these feelings in me. The way she looks at Emmett and me is… I don’t know. It’s like she wants to see us together, like it turns her on. And I want to do that for her, but selfishly, I want to do it for myself. The few times I’ve taken Emmett, while he’s taken her, are… magical. I want to do it the next time we’re together. Feel his ass wrapped around my cock.
“You ok there?” Ev asks, looking at my cock.
Fuck!
“Yea,” I snap without meaning to as I stand to walk them over to the edge of the beach.
“What are you thinking about?” she presses.
“Sinking my cock in that ass.”
Her eyes flare with excitement, and she stops and looks at me. “Whose?”
The one word causes a tingle to move up my spine. The fact she didn’t automatically assume it was hers was both electrifying and terrifying at the same time. It also confirms she wants to see me with Emmett as much as my cock wants to take Emmett. “Does it matter?”
She smiles, hands clasped under her chin. “It really doesn’t because I love you no matter.” She gives me a quick kiss on the cheek and runs to meet Callum at the kayak.
After a moment, I continue to move towards them, ignoring the nagging feeling to turn around and search out Emmett to see if he saw our little interaction. He, of course, would be too far away to hear anything, but would he know? He’s always been able to read me like an open book which has been equal parts frustrating and nice.
Ev and Callum climb into the kayak, aim the tip towards the ocean, and start to push forward. Looking over my shoulder, I see we’re far enough away from the group that they can’t make out what we’re doing, so I lean down and kiss Everlee on her cheek. She turns to look at me and brings her hand up to my chin and kisses me on the lips. “I love you,” she mumbles against my lips.
“I love you,” I whisper back. And I do. With everything in me. For some reason, the words feel… more. Like I need her to know how much I love her, so she doesn’t doubt it because of my feelings for Emmett.
She studies my face like she can hear my thoughts and feelings, then grabs Callum’s shoulder. “Let’s go hot stuff before I change my mind.”
He grabs her hand and pulls it over his shoulder and kisses her knuckles.
“When the next wave comes, I need you both to paddle hard,” I say, crouching into position.
It takes several attempts, but they get pushed off, clear the waves and get out to the ocean. Ev looks back at me and smiles.
A strange feeling tingles under my skin as I watch them paddle further and further out. Worry? I trust Callum with our girl, but that doesn’t change the fact that something could happen to them, to her. The waves are definitely getting more choppy and the wind has picked up.
Shaking my head, trying to get rid of all the bad thoughts, I walk back over to the seats and take the one Everlee had been in beside her mother.
“I’m surprised you got her to wear the life jacket. She’s always hated them.”
“I wouldn’t have given her a choice,” I huff.
Donna smiles at me. “Hey Jax,” she says casually.
“Hey Donna.” I look over at her and smile, feeling like a prying question is about to be asked.
“Tell me a little about yourself. Callum is your brother, yes?”
“He is.”
“You two, I seem to know the least about. Very tall, dark, and mysterious. And handsome. Obviously. It must be something in Ms. Mary Mae’s water.”
“There isn’t much to know about the brood,” Lizzy chimes in, and I cut my eyes at her, causing her to laugh.
“I have picked up on this,” she says, pointing between Lizzy and me. “This love hate relationship between you two.”
“He hates he loves me!” Lizzy cackles, and I don’t correct her. My words are the gas to her flame.
