“Boo boo brother. Say it ain’t so.”
“It ain’t so.”
“What?” She tries to crawl over his shoulder to look in his face.
“You said to say it, so I did.”
“Aren’t you a funny?”
“Yes. I am a funny.”
She crawls off his back and pats him on the butt. “Thanks for the lift fire daddy.”
“Ooh fire daddy. I like that,” Will says, setting his drink on the counter and walking over to hug Lizzy.
After the hug, she pats Will on the butt. “Firm. I can tell you’ve been working out.” She chuckles, then grabs Beckett’s drink off the counter and walks away with it.
“What the hell?” he calls after her.
“I thought you made it for me.”
“Yep. Sure did.”
“I’ll be on the roof waiting for you. We’ve so much to discuss,” she taunts, walking away.
“I’ll go with her,” Will says, jogging away.
“Traitor!” Beckett yells after Will.
After I make Beckett another drink, we head over to the guy's house and walk up to the roof.
“What are you two talking about?” Beckett asks, stepping onto the roof.
“Her wedding.”
“Ooh, fun. Fun. Go on. Let’s hear the deets.”
We spend the rest of the night eating sushi, talking about Lizzy’s wedding, and planning a summer vacation with everyone. Somehow Lizzy had gotten us to agree to a week's vacation at the beach and was already looking at houses to rent. She found a huge one with seven rooms, two full kitchens that’s on the beach. Will and Beckett were all in, but I needed to get the guys on board, which should be an interesting conversation.
JAX - UGHH
Themusicisthumping, and the club is packed. When I walked by Lizzy and Everlee’s table ten minutes ago, they still weren’t here, which is a little concerning. I’m sure she’s fine- they’re- I’m sure they’re fine. Emmett and Knox have been telling me I should be inclusive of the group, but really, all I care about is her- Everlee.
“You ok?” Knox asks standing beside me looking down to the main floor.
“Yea.”
“Did you hear we’re going to the beach? Apparently, Lizzy is planning it all.”
I cut my eyes at him, causing him to laugh.
“What? It could be fun. We’ve never done anything like this before.”
“Probably for good reason. Can you imagine being stuck inside a beach house with Lizzy for seven days? Waking up and going to sleep with her there.” My insides quake at the thought.
A hand slips over my shoulder. “Are you talking about me, you big hunka meat?”
I slowly turn and find Lizzy dressed in a silver sequin top with a rainbow-colored tutu, wearing a unicorn headband, with Tony beside her, shirtless, wearing a pair of tight rainbow-colored pants with rainbow fur around his ankles. The fact Lizzy has found someone to match her energy and is confident in his sexuality enough to wear that outfit is amazing.
