I didn’t know where Emmett and Knox ranked, if they ranked at all. Emmett sort of had his own thing with Bo’s, and I wasn’t quite sure what Knox did. He seemed the faithful, obedient server, but I had a feeling he was much more complex than that. He had dealt with dickhead from the club without question. I got the impression he was efficient in that sort of thing, perhaps ex-military. Was his fun-going personality a facade?
He saw me looking at him and winked, then blew a kiss.
There was no way it was pretend. It didn’t mean he couldn’t be both, just uncommon, I guess. I laughed since I was basing all of this off the books I’d read. I had no experience with any of this stuff, but I knew everyone served a role in this relationship. Is that what it was? A relationship?
I finished the last of my drink and my stomach tightened into a ball of nerves as everyone looked at me, a mixture of glances. Emmett’s was weary, Knox’s was hopeful and Callum’s… his was guarded. Was he angry with me?
This was not at all how I expected this night to go…
Jax called my name. “Are you ready?”
I looked around the room one more time. “Yes.”
“I’ll be in my room.” Callum stated without emotion. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the NDA and another document, and handed them to Jax. He then reached into his other pocket and pulled out my panties, and the room looked between us.
“You can keep those.” I winked and was happy to see a smile tugging at his lips. He wasn’t mad at me, but uncertain. His words replaying in my mind. He was nervous I couldn’t handle the arrangement, but little did he know I had already talked myself into while we were sitting around the bar silently. I wanted all these men, if that’s what it ended up being. I know it was what I was hoping at this point. Four men that were probably the hottest I had ever seen. Muscles, tattoos, and those eyes.
Callum tucked them back into his pocket and turned to leave the room, followed by Emmett and Knox.
“We’ll go into the office.” Jax pointed at the large glass paneled room off the kitchen.
I nodded, too nervous to speak.
I prefer penii not penises
Theofficewasasimpressive as the rest of the house. Three of the walls were floor to ceiling glass panels and on the far side of the room were dark wood shelves with a mixture of books and other modern decor on it. In the center of the room was a large desk with a single chair behind it and, in front of it, four dark brown leather chairs.
“Please take a seat.” He offered, then took the seat beside me. I’d expected him to sit across the desk, a show of authority and control, but Jax knew I was no threat and he felt I knew my place. He was making it more intimate, making me feel more comfortable, and I appreciated that.
He flipped the NDA open and looked at it. I got the feeling he was confirming my signature on it before we started talking. Trust but verify, I suppose.
“So I’m going to assume you have put a few things together about us, but potentially have some questions. I usually have a whole discussion planned, but you seem to have mixed things up a bit.”
“Sorry.” I fidgeted with my hands.
“Don’t be sorry. It’s nice to see Callum let his guard down, even though it bothers him.”
“Why?”
“He needs structure. Control.”
“I got that impression, based on some things he’s said and done.”
“I have to ask… only because it will change the tone of the conversation. Have you had sex?”
“I’m not a virgin.”
He chuckled. “Sorry. I meant with Callum.”
“Oh.” I hit my forehead and wiped my hand down my face. “No. Not yet.”
A smile flickered on his face, but then he shook his head. I presume, trying to focus himself. “Let’s get this over with, then. I don’t want to be the one standing in the way of what Callum wants.”
I sucked in a breath.
“What theories have you drawn so far?”
I hesitated because if I was wrong, I would feel super embarrassed.
