“What? Huh?” Shit. Pay attention.

“Do you want something to drink?”

“Old Fashioned.”

Knox squealed. “Can we keep her?”

Jax glanced at him disapprovingly. “She’s not a pet.”

Knox grabbed my hand and spun me around, dipping me backwards, his face an inch from mine. “I know, but one can hope.” His eyes danced with an unexpected heat, leaving me breathless and causing my cheeks to blush. He stood me back up, leaving me dizzy and wanting. Wanting to feel his lips on mine, but I banished the thought. For now. If I was misreading the situation, then I didn’t want to come off the wrong way to Callum.

The guys started walking towards the kitchen, so I followed. We all took a stool around the bar, watching Emmett fix a drink for everyone.

“Is everyone getting the same thing?” I asked, trying to break the awkward tension in the room.

“It’s our house drink.”

Of course it is.

Emmett handed it to me, and I tilted it back, taking a sip. Fuck me, that was good. Probably the best old-fashioned I’d ever had. “This is magical.”

Emmett beamed. “It’s the cherries. Luxardo all the way.”

I scooped it out with my finger, sucked it into my mouth, and bit into it. Oh my God.

Was it possible to have an orgasm from eating food? A cherry specifically?

I must have moaned because all the men’s lust filled eyes were on me with mouths parted. I felt like they were lions and I was a piece of meat in the middle of their safari and the feelings moving through me were not fear, but excitement. It was such a turn on to know I had this effect on them.

Shit.

I looked at each of them and my body felt electric. Heat was pulsing through my veins, my stomach was clenching and my needy little cunt was aching to be touched, kissed, and fucked.

They must have read me like I was reading them because the entire atmosphere changed.

“It was a really good cherry.” I stifled a laugh.

“Get her another!” Knox cheered and Emmett jokingly slid the whole jar towards me.

I laughed, which seemed to bring us all back from the edge, for now.

“So lay it on me.”

Callum looked at Jax.

Callum started to speak, but I jumped in. “From Jax. Doesn’t he usually handle this sort of thing for you?”

All eyes were on Callum with a mixture of shock and awe. I gathered people didn’t interrupt him while he was speaking. While his eyes gave nothing away, his tone did. He was frustrated and his words were clipped. “Yes. Jax does handle the terms of the arrangement.”

Arrangement? Curiosity was killing me. I was a cat walking la-ti-da into a den of lions. I just hoped it didn’t get me killed. Fucked to death, I was ok with. It had been a while since I felt an actual dick in me and Lizzy would be ecstatic to hear it was four. What would she say when I told her about this? She’d lose her mind.

I felt a pang of… what? It wasn’t guilt, or remorse, but I just realized I signed an NDA. I couldn’t tell her about this. How was I going to keep this from her? There was no way. She was my best friend. She’d know something was up. We shared everything. I chuckled at my current predicament and realized we didn’t shareeverything.

“Let’s finish our drinks and then we’ll talk.” Jax directed.

I’d gathered Callum was the alpha of the group, which would make sense. He seemed the one in control over everything with his rules, coupled with the way everyone looked at him to make decisions. He also naturally took the seat at the end of the bar, and I realized he was sitting at the head of the table at Bo’s tonight discussing whatever it was they were looking at. At least part of their night was talking about me, since he had to get permission from them to take me out. Although I was getting the feeling that having him go down on me twice was not part of the agreement.

Jax would be his beta. The one the others looked to when Callum wasn’t around, the one who handled the negotiations. Negotiations? I got the feeling the arrangement I would be presented was a take it or leave it sort of thing, but a girl could try.
