Emmett called our server over to take the picture. Lizzy put me in the middle of all the guys, while she stood on the outside of Jax. I was between Emmett and Knox in the front, with Callum was behind me to my right and Jax beside him. Emmett and Knox slipped their arms around me, hand resting on my waist and then a second later, Jax and Callum slipped their arms in, resting their hands on my hips. All their hands on me sent a fire to my core.

Lizzy, being Lizzy and having planned this perfectly, got one pic and then asked for a second with just me and the boys. I rolled my eyes when I realized what she was doing.

Once the pictures were taken, their hands were reluctant to drop, and I didn’t want them too, but they did because if not, it would just get awkward.

Jax stepped forward. “If it’s ok with you both, I’m going to take you home Lizzy and Callum will take you home, Everlee.”

Before I could say anything, Lizzy agreed to it for both of us.

I looked at Callum and couldn’t read his face.

“Perfect.” Emmett said.

I leaned over and gave him a hug and then a kiss on the cheek. He tickled my side when I pulled away, making me giggle.

“What about me?” Knox whined.

“You didn’t do anything.” Jax reprimanded.

“I helped with… something. I’m sure.”

I smiled, leaning over to plant a kiss on his cheek.

“Are we ready now?” Jax asked.

“Yes, we are.” Lizzy answered again, looping her arm in Jax’s.

We walked to the front, and the doorman gave Jax and Emmett a set of keys.

“See you boys at home.” Jax said. “Good night Everlee.” He leaned down and gave me a kiss just off the side of my lips that left my head spinning. He hadn’t been overly affectionate, but that kiss, while it wasn’t on the lips, felt… intimate.

We watched the others hop in their cars the valets had pulled up and I waited for them to hand Callum his keys, but they didn’t.

Once the others had taken off, he looked hesitantly at me. “Are you ready?”

I nodded, and he scowled at me. I wasn’t going to give him the words he wanted.

He huffed and then pushed the door open, holding it for me. A cool gust of wind blew my dress up, and I quickly pushed it down.

There was a black Audi Q7 parked in the front with a man waiting in the cold by the back door. “This is us.”

He has a driver. Of course he does.

I climbed in first, sliding over for him.

This was going to be an interesting ride.

Rules were meant to be broken

Igavethedrivermy address, and he plugged it into the GPS.

Twenty-two minutes with traffic.

He made a turn at the stoplight, beating the yellow light, causing my hand to brace on the center of the seat and Callum’s to do the same.

His pinky brushed mine, and he apologized.

“What exactly are you sorry for?” I mumbled out.
