Her hand caresses me and that’s it. I’m done for.
I come hard and long, thrusting up into her as my hands grip her hips for support. She brings the upper half of her body into a prone position until her breasts are resting on top of my chest, and then she puts her lips on mine.
I groan out the last of my orgasm into her mouth.
Fucking hell. That was even more intense than the first time.
And right now, in this bed, I want to change the game. I don’t just want Jasalie for a night or a few days. I want her forever.
I don’t know how the hell I’m going to make this work, but by the end of this trip, I need to figure it out. I have to because I already can’t imagine my life without her in it.

Jasalie
A long time later, I step out of the shower and Dylan follows behind me.
“We’ve officially had sex in every important part of your hotel room.” He wraps a towel around me and gives me a kiss. “Shall we make a date for my room tomorrow night?”
I laugh. “Sounds good.”
We climb into bed naked. Dylan puts his arms around me, and I rest my head on his shoulder.
“Have you done this with a lot of women before?” I ask him. “Gone on road trips with your team and ended up with a bedtime date?”
“Never like this. I had some meaningless casual encounters when I was a rookie, but I learned pretty quickly to stay away from women who only want me for what I do on the football field. Honestly, I haven’t been in a relationship in a while now. I’ve dated on and off, and nothing ever felt right.”
I know what he means. Nobody felt right before him. I just didn’t know it until he entered my life like a firecracker and lit me up from the inside out.
“I crave you, Jasalie Gordon. Thinking about you makes me nuts.” Dylan tips my chin until we make eye contact. “I don’t want to be easy for you to leave.”
And yet tomorrow is our last day together. I push that unpleasant thought out of my brain and force a smile. “What are we going to do tomorrow? Lilla will be gone. So will Bill.”
“Two distractions out of the way, then,” Dylan says. “Colton and Sky are going on their honeymoon, and most of my team is leaving, too. I guess we’ll just make things up as we go along. Maybe a trip to Tubac?”
“To the artsy town south of here?” I ask. “That sounds amazing. For me, that is. I don’t know if you would enjoy it, though.”
“I would. And I thought you could get some stuff to inspire you. You know, the sculptor you.”
I kiss him. “You must be too good to be true.”
Dylan shifts to turn out the bedside light. “You ready to go to sleep?”
He’s got one arm around me still, so he notices immediately when I tense.
“What’s wrong?”
I’m already climbing out of the bed. “I don’t do sleepovers real well. That’s all.”
Dylan’s eyes hook mine. “You want me to leave?”
He looks so disappointed I take a deep breath and crawl back under the covers. “No. I don’t. I’m just not used to this is all.”
He kisses my head. “It’ll be fun. You’ll see.”
Chapter Nineteen
I don’t sleep all night. I’m wide awake, almost like I don’t need to rest. But my nervous energy doesn’t feel good—I’m so anxious I could bounce off the hotel walls. I have to see my mother sometime soon. With the business portion of my trip now over, and the money going into my account, I have no reason to delay. The very idea of showing up on her doorstep makes me break into a cold sweat.
