Excitement and dismay warred in Dex. “If you bite me, I’m gonna come. Then I’ll fail.”
Luc gripped Dex’s chin between his thumb and forefinger. “No, you won’t. You know how to be good for me. You’ve earned a reward. I won’t push you. I’m done playing for now.”
Luc’s bite was akin to getting his prostate pegged. Dex couldn’t take that in his current state, but he trusted Luc. If he said he was done playing, then he was.
“Okay. How is this going to work?”
That proud look from earlier filled Luc’s face. “Holding back a little when I bite changes the sensation. All you have to do is tell me where you’d like my fangs.”
That was easy enough. “Will you bite my ass?”
Luc chuckled. “Most definitely.”
Dex’s face flamed as Luc lecherously licked his lips.
He tipped Dex onto the couch, then stood and fixed his pants. “On your stomach,” he ordered.
Dex lay on his belly, arms folded beneath his head. Luc pulled Dex’s joggers and boxer briefs down to expose his ass, but didn’t free his neglected erection.
“I don’t want to come,” Dex said desperately. Even the pressure of the couch cushion was nearly too much. Not humping it took serious effort.
“I know.” Luc rubbed Dex’s back gently. “I won’t tempt you. Not when I told you it wasn’t allowed. This isn’t a trap. I wouldn’t do that to you.”
“Okay.” Dex forced himself to relax, and his muscles slowly unbunched.
“Very good.” Luc caressed Dex’s ass, running his fingers along his crack, but didn’t touch his hole. He grabbed the globe closest to him, pinching Dex’s skin.
He bared his teeth. “A reward for my perfect boy.”
Dex groaned as Luc lowered his head and bit, sinking his teeth into the swell of his ass with a sharp sting.
Luc took slow sips, and the pain faded into a steady pulse of pleasure. Softness radiated from Dex’s ass, and instead of bringing his arousal to a peak, it smoothed out his pleasure. Sensation rolled through Dex’s body, closer to a massage than the near orgasm Luc’s bite usually triggered. He was in no danger of coming and breaking his promise.
Dex sighed and arched his back, pushing into Luc. Herubbed Dex’s spine, his head, his neck, and sent steady soothing pulses through his bloodstream. Dex closed his eyes and drifted, becoming more and more relaxed.
Eventually, Luc pulled off, licking the wound to heal it. “Sleep now, little mate. Then we’ll have dinner.”
Drifting off was the easiest thing Dex had ever done, knowing Luc was there to take care of him.

DEX
Dex gripped Luc’s neck as he flew them toward the cliffs north of the city. “I know I can’t come with you, but I hate this.”
His stomach flipped, and he clutched Luc tighter.
It wasn’t flying that had him in knots. Soaring through the air wasn’t too bad as long as Dex didn’t look down. He was safe in Luc’s strong arms.
But Luc was making his move against the Eternal Realm, and Dex wanted to tell him to wait. It had come around so quickly, and felt like walking into a black pit, not knowing what lay within.
What if Luc’s plan didn’t work and Dex had to live the rest of his life knowing it was Luc or his parents?
“I hate it, too, Dex. But everything we need is in place.”
“What if you don’t come back?” Dex closed his eyes. He hated this fear more than Luc going without him. Fuck. Losing someone he loved—or was growing to love—was the same old worry that had plagued him for years.
“There’s nothing to indicate that the council wants me trapped anywhere but on Earth. Remember, I’ll do everythingin my power to come back to you. And my power isn’t small, even if it’s not all-encompassing.”
