“Later.” Theo agreed. He pushed himself up, my longing gaze tracking his movements.

“Later” he repeated with a soft grin “come on. I’m hungry.”

Jack and Stryker were discussing something in the kitchen when we entered; his dad was reading through paperwork at the table and Armelle was no where to be seen.

“Heya.” Jack greeted me. I waved back.

Stryker was looking at Theo, eyes scanning his clothed figure as if he were searching for something “try to be quiet. Later.” He murmured to him after a long moment, eyes glinting mischievously.

I felt my heart stop, and panic plastered itself onto Theo’s face. He shot me a desperate look that seemed a lot like a plea for help that I didn’t know how to give. The panic must have shown on both of our faces, because Stryker’s expression softened and he said, in a low voice “it’s not a problem. Unexpected, but I won’t tell anyone.”

I held his gaze for a moment, searching it for any signs that he was lying. Theo did the same; finding none, I nodded slowly whilst he let out a surprised laugh “no need to eavesdrop.”

“Wasn’t trying to.”

“Jerk.”

“Just saying, I’m planning on sleeping.”

“Piss off.”

Jack raised an eyebrow at us over his mug of coffee, clearly- and luckily- not having caught a word of our hushed back and forth.

The day was uneventful, mostly lounging around; that evening I went with Stryker to speak with Johnathan about the kidnapping situation, and when I returned Theo was passed out on the bed, lying on his stomach and wearing only a pair of sweatpants that he could do without.

Jack had gone to bed too.

“Theo” I murmured “hey”

He mumbled something incoherent.

“Theo” I whispered again, smiling.

“Wha’ time s’it?” He grumbled, rolling onto his back. I chuckled at how adorably out of it he was, pressing a kiss to the corner of his mouth and beginning to strip “midnight?”

“Hm.” He squinted “‘m tired.”

“I know, lovely. You were sleeping.” The nickname slipped out, and I momentarily tensed, wondering if he’d say anything about it, but he didn’t seem to notice in his drowsy state

“I know.”

I smiled fondly, changing into a shirt and sweatpants and lying next to him.

“Would you like to visit my house tomorrow?” Theo asked in a mumble.

I stilled for a moment, the request unexpected, then nodded slowly “alright.”

I chuckled at Theo’s lazy grin.

“Sleep” I murmured, nudging him. Theo frowned slightly, turning over and kissing me roughly, almost needy. Pleased, Iclimbed on top of him and kissed him again. I looked down at him, voice husky, knowingthat my eyes had gone dark, “you’re so perfect, you know that?”

“I prefer hot.” Theo mumbled, already tugging at my shirt. I leaned down and licked at the dip of his collarbone, sucking on the skin. Theo hummed. The sound turned into a breathy moan, and he tugged on my hair, getting a moan out of me, too.

Theo kissed me once more, arching up into me, hands running down my back, tangling in my hair, as I supported myself on my elbows. We eventually broke away, both panting hard, with blown pupils, and I once again began kissing down Theo’s neck, sucking bruises into his skin. He whined.

“Thought you were tired?” I whispered

“Shut up.” He moaned, arching into my touch “fuck, I want you to fuck me.”
