“Yes?” I glanced in the rearview mirror again and found Rowen with his face in Vail’s neck, sucking on a spot that had Vail thrusting his hips. Rowen’s hand was in Vail’s jeans, the movements making it obvious what he was doing. “Did you know Fallon likes bottoming?”
“Really?” I hummed. Ididn’tknow, but I’d never made it a priority to get to know what Fallon liked, either. He wasn’t bad-looking, but he wasn’t my usual type. He talked too much.
Vail groaned and pumped his hips forward. “He’s so sexy when he has a dick in him.”
“Mm-hmm.” I chuckled, assuming this was another one of Vail’s wandering thoughts. Sometimes he went off on tangents, and I let him.
“Would you fuck him for me?” he groaned out.
I yanked the wheel too hard and the SUV swerved, nearly hitting the car in the lane beside me. The driver honked, but I ignored him as I glanced back in the mirror. The lights that flickered past showed the serious expression on Vail’s face. Even Rowen had stopped jerking him off to stare at him.
“I think it would be hot, reallyhot, and you’re the one who hates him the least.” He gave me a silly grin. “I always fantasized about being someone who sat to the side and watched two hot guys fuck in front of me. I’d beat off at the same time. And I think you and Fallon would besosexy together.”
“What about me?” Rowen grumbled, moving his hand again in a way that had Vail whimpering.
“Aspen would be hot with Fallon, though, right? And you can’t stand Fallon,” he moaned out, throwing his head back over the seat and arching.
“Eh, he’s not too bad, but ye’re right, Aspen would be better to fuck him.”
“Have you asked Fallon?” My mind spun. I’d never thought about fucking Fallon, and even though he wasn’t necessarily my type, I was intrigued by the idea of Vail watching us and getting off on me fucking Fallon.
“No.” He yelled out and I grinned at his obvious orgasm. It took him another few seconds before his panting stopped and he could talk. “But I can ask him.”
I shrugged even though I knew he probably couldn’t see it. “Okay.”
“Really?” The excitement in his voice made me smile.
“Yeah.”
“This is going to be amazing. I’m going to text Fallon right now.”
I snorted. It would be interesting to see what Fallon said because my cock was a fuck of a lot bigger than Vail’s.

VAIL
Rowen heldthe elevator door for me and Aspen—it was one of those awful ones that tried to close before anyone but a marathon sprinter would have a chance to exit—but as soon as I was through, he smiled at me. I put my hand in his when he held it out. He grasped me tightly, as if he was worried I’d go missing again if he let go.
The extra attention was sweet, and the clear evidence of his love for me, coupled with the way he’d distracted me from feeling bad in the car, reminded me of why I was starting to feel like he was a person I couldn’t live without. The smell of hospital tickled my nose, the antiseptic tang of alcohol wipes and hand sanitizer, and brought me crashing out of my afterglow into the real world.
I had to find Lor. I glanced both ways along the crisp white hallway. The floor was white as well, with a row of red tiles down the center, and I stared at that vicious swath of color for too long while I tried to get my thoughts together. Anxiety knotted my stomach until it felt like it might rip apart.
“The woman at the front desk said he would be on this floor.” I glanced around and my heart raced. “I don’t remember what room she said, do you? I’m always terrible with this sort of thing. I should have written it down.”
“It’s okay,” Aspen said, and with a small wave, he caught the attention of a pretty nurse with long black hair up in a ponytail and shiny pink lips. Rather than walking past us, she beamed up at him as he leaned down to say something quiet to her.
“Oh sure. Lorcan. Oh, you must be family, huh? I’m so glad someone’s stopping to see him. That’s too bad, what happened to him. That boy got shot at school. What is the world coming to?” She shook her head.
“Not a native New Yorker?” Aspen asked with an amused twist of his lips, and I was shocked as something unpleasant clawed alive in my chest. Was he flirting?
She giggled and shook her head. “I’m from Ohio. I’m actually from the smallest town in the whole state, Rendville. It’s been an adjustment.”
As they made some polite small talk before Aspen got to the point, I squeezed Rowen’s hand, and he wrapped his arm around my waist. I rested my face against his neck and breathed in his cologne, a crisp scent that made me imagine moonbeams and ocean waves.
“Can we move it along?” Rowen asked, and she gasped.
“Oh, I love accents.” She made dreamy eyes at Rowen now, and it might be petty, but I was happy to see she wasn’t flirting with Aspen anymore. Of all my guys, he was the biggest mystery, and I was shocked at myself for how I was feeling.Insecure. Unsettled.
