Taylor's smile deepened. "Sure. But trust me, you'll get bored if you let me blather on."

A good-natured possessive growl reverberated in my throat. "Never."

He looked even more surprised. Had no one ever bothered to share his interests before? Apparently not, given Taylor's previous statement about his lack of dates.

I didn't mind. In fact, that pleased me. Taylor was mine. Nobody else's. The thought of some other alpha's hands on him infuriated me. I wouldn't feel fully satisfied until I'd claimed him, proving my love for him.

I licked my lips. He was so close, yet I couldn't touch him. Why hadn't I touched him more last night? I'd let him take control. He’d given me the best blowjob of my life, and it killed me that I couldn't return the favor right here and now. They’d definitely have to cutthatout on the editing room floor…

As I slipped back into horny-thoughts territory, Gaius's voice rang out.

"And... time! Wow, our two contestants managed to stay apart for sixty whole minutes. Honestly, I'm surprised. For a few seconds there, it looked like these two lovebirds were about to go at it!" Gaius shook his head and shot me a knowing look. "Either they have the strongest willpower known to man, or maybe… they're not fated after all."

I felt the sting of whiplash. My gaze snapped towards Gaius. Anger coursed through my veins, and my skin prickled with fury.

"Crimson?" Taylor asked. "Are you okay?"

His voice sounded like it came from a different room. I barely heard him over the roaring blood in my ears.

Gaius definitely noticed the change in my demeanor, but he locked eyes with me and kept going anyway. "Our game of Look, But Don't Touch went nowhere. Will future dates with Taylor and Crimson end the same way?" He paused, letting the tension hang off his last words. "Or will Crimson choose a different omega next time?"

My patience, hanging by a thread, snapped.

And so did the chains binding me.

The shift came over me fast and hard. In the blink of an eye, my body exploded in size. Massive leathery wings jutted out of my back, and a row of spikes flowed down my spine. My mouth twisted into a fanged maw, and my fingers became sharp claws.

As I fell forward, my long, powerful tail helped keep my balance. But that didn't stop me from landing right on top of Taylor.

The tip of my snout pressed against his nose. I breathed hard. In my dragon form, his scent was even sweeter, even more delicious. I sucked it in like a drug.

I wanted nothing more than to ravage him right here, now. I didn't care if we were surrounded by people, or that we were on camera. My alpha dragon instincts reared up in full force, roaring the wordmateover and over in my skull. I wanted to bury myself inside Taylor and breed him.

A soft touch on the side of my scaly maw jerked me back to reality. Taylor lay beneath me, flat and prone against the sand. He made no effort to get up or push me away. He seemed content lying there. Despite being pinned to the ground by a huge dragon, there wasn't even a single flash of fear in his eyes.

My heart sizzled with affection for him. I slowly closed my eyes as Taylor stroked my face. His touch was both calming and erotic. I didn't feel as angry as I had a few seconds ago, but now I was horny again. I wished I could flap my wings and blow all the cameras away.

Fortunately, I hadjustenough presence of mind not to do that. Duke would be pissed at me.

“It’s okay, Crimson,” Taylor murmured.

I shivered at the way he said my name.

“There’s no need to be upset,” he said. “I’m here. I’m not going anywhere.”

I blew out a hot, shaky breath from my nostrils. The force of it ruffled Taylor’s hair. Then I felt a gradual change in my body. My majestic, powerful dragon shrank back inside of me until I straddled Taylor in my human form.

The beach was dead silent. For once, even Gaius didn’t have anything to say.

The cameras still rolled. The look on Duke’s face told me everything I needed to know. They’d just struck TV gold.

Taylor had tamed the dragon.

Taylor

Last nightwhen Crimson appeared on my balcony, it felt like a dream.
