“Oh, Nate, honey. Come here,” Hailey says, pulling me so that I’m lying right next to them. She’s stroking my hair, all of us connected by touch.

Every piece of heartbreak, every moment of insecurity, every moment of finding who I was, it was worth finding this.

This is my pack and I don’t care where we came from, who we are, how we got here. All I care about is the fact that they’re mine.

“Wow. Possessive Nate. I like it,” Hayes jokes and Hailey pets my hair.

I’m the luckiest Alpha there ever was.

After bonding, we get into a new routine. When Sterling and I have to work, Hailey and Hayes spend all their time together. Sometimes it's hard to not get jealous, but thankfully our Omega lets us know how much she misses us, mostly in the form of baked goods. A fact that the entire station knows and I kinda hate them for it.

"What's Hailey bringing today?" Joey asks.

"I don't know, but you're not getting any now," I say, and Sterling laughs, smacking my ass, as we head toward the cafeteria.

When we get there, Hailey is waiting, Hayes at her back.

She smiles at us like we mean everything to her, and fuck, it gets me every time. I grin and give her a big hug before doing the same to Hayes.

Having an Omega has made our pack whole. Not that we had issues with intimacy or giving each other attention, but it's nice to have the one person in our pack who can handle all of us and our neediness.

"What did you make this time, baby girl?" Sterling asks.

She blushes looking at Sterling. "You know how me and your mom have been emailing?" she asks him.

We can all feel his elation down the bond. I know as soon as we can, we'll be making the trip to see his family, but the fact Hailey and his mother are already getting close means everything to him.

"Did she send you more baby pictures?" he asks.

"Ugh, I wish. You were so cute, but she actually gave me her recipe for ginger snaps. She said they were your favorite during the holi—" She doesn't even finish her sentence before his lips are on hers.

He greedily takes the tupperware container and cradles it against his chest like it’s the most valuable treasure.

"You lot are definitely not fucking getting any now," Sterling says at a glaring Joey.

"I thought you'd say that," Hailey says, taking another container out of her bag and placing it on the counter. "Don't worry, they're just snickerdoodles."

Sterling opens the lid to the ginger snaps and moans as he takes his first bite.

"You're not just being dramatic for me are you?" Hailey says.

Sterling shakes his head, and I attempt to grab one out of the container, which Sterling has already shifted to one side of his body.

Greedy fucker.

Hailey sighs, grabs a cookie and hands it to me.

"It tastes just like my mom’s," Sterling says, a sense of nostalgia and gratefulness funnels around the bond.

It's easier to read each other when we’re all close. When Sterling and I are on calls, we do our best to manage our emotions. But knowing how Hailey and Hayes are while we’re gone for our stretches of work makes everything easier.

I can tell Hailey doesn't want to leave, that this part is always hard for her. Down the bond, there's some unease.

I wrap my arms around her, kissing her hair.

"What do you want to do tomorrow?" I ask her.

"I want to just spend the day at home with my pack. That's all I want," she says easily.
