“Hey, none of that. You built me the house of my dreams and created a club worth being proud of. I’m happy, Tate; truly, fucking happy, and you’re a huge part of that.”
“I know. I just didn’t think it would take actual years before we felt like we could get time away from the club,” he grumbles.
“Rome wasn’t built in a day. You needed time to make sure you built a club you could trust, and you did just that. I’m proudto be your bonded, and we have all the time in the world to travel together.”
“You’re really happy? Even though we spend most of our time on the compound?” he asks.
“Yes, I’m really, truly happy. Plus, it’s not a hardship when I’m actually part of the community, you know? Before, I was tucked away and not a part of the club. My life is full, Tate. This is just a bonus.”
“Now that Doc has really stepped up, I want to be able to take you out more,” he says.
“I’d love that,” I tell him, wiggling closer to him.
Fuck the sandwich. I need to prove how happy I am.
The hotel door clicks open, and Axel quickly drops our stuff onto the ground.
“Oh, are we fuckin’ instead of goin’ out to eat now?” he asks with a smirk.
“No, we’re eating first,” I scold playfully, pulling away from Tate.
“I’ll eat you first, darlin’,” Axel counters with a wink.
I genuinely consider his offer, and he knows it as he smirks back at me.
“No, we’re getting food. If we get started now, we won’t leave the hotel tonight, and we only have a few days as is,” Cash interjects. I smile at him, loving that he’s our travel dad.
“Fine,Dad, ruin our fun,” Axel complains, causing Cash to roll his eyes.
Axel loves calling him that and getting under his skin. While Tate might be the one in charge of the club and making a lot of decisions, Cash keeps us grounded, and we truly need it. Because if Axel and I are alone, I’m definitely susceptible to his impulsive ideas. Like the time he thought it was too hot outside, and we made a giant slip-n-slide on the back hill of the compound. I scraped my knee, and you would have thought I had a mortalwound with the way Tate and Cash reacted. I won’t lie, the slide was fun as hell.
All in all our balance is perfect. It’s taken time for everyone to find their place in the pack, but we’ve only gotten closer as time goes on. There are still bouts of jealousy when it comes to my time, but we work on it as a unit, each and every one of us would do anything for one another.
I’m so fucking lucky.
Tate groans and shifts in his pants. “We gotta get the fuck out of here.”
“Sorry,” I whisper, knowing my emotions are getting all lovey-dovey. Usually, once that starts, the horny thoughts happen next.
I will not think about how good they all look right now, or how badly I want them to all come inside of me one after another while wearing their cuts.
“Christ, Lily. You’re not helping,” Cash complains.
“Okay, okay. Let me just get changed and we’ll go.”
I moan around the sandwich;it’s honestly life-changing. My mates don’t seem to agree, as they all glare at me due to the noises I’m making while I eat.
I shrug and take another large mouthful. They can deal with my erotic noises while I eat the best sandwich I’ve had in my entire life.
We’re seated on the outside patio of the restaurant and people are walking up and down the street. A woman is carrying this massive frozen cocktail, and I can’t help but to stare.
“I’m going to need one of those before the tour,” I announce, pointing to her drink.
“That thing is as big as you,” Cash argues.
“Mmm, I think I’m well acquainted with large things by now. I want one.”
“I knew you would be like this on vacation,” Axel comments with a laugh.
