Eli is next with his kisses as he takes my lips. I feel his insecurity through the bond, and I smile as he kisses me. “Morning, baby.” I grab him by the collar. Even though Mikael gets a front-row seat, I kiss him hard on the mouth.
“I love you too, Eli.”
He grins and kisses me even harder. All his devotion pours into his kiss. “Love you too.”
Mikael clears his throat as Eli gets a little handsy with me.
“Still knotted here,” he says, squeezing my thighs for emphasis.
“Better learn how to share, Mr. Softy,” Eli says.
Mikael rolls his eyes and pushes on Eli’s shoulder. Eli kisses the side of my head one more time and parts with a shit-eating grin.
“Well, we have the rest of the day to do whatever you want. What does our sweet, little Omega want to do?” Eli asks.
I grin at them. “You guys still haveCatan?”
“Our first day as a pack and you want to start it off with war?” Mikael asks, and I grin.
“You scared to lose?”
“No lap sits for resource trades,” Eli says.
“No promises.” Mikael’s knot releases us, and as we look down, we both blush, realizing the counter needs to be cleaned up before anything. Mikael grabs a towel and begins to clean up while I look around the kitchen.
The three hottest Alphas I’ve ever seen are shirtless and eating breakfast inourkitchen. The road here might have been rough, but with this outcome, I can’t dwell on the past. From here on out, everything is about our pack’s happiness and what we can do to make this relationship as happy and as strong as it can be.
I scoff, thinking about how proud Janet is going to be when I tell her this at therapy. There’s really only one thing left to do to help me feel completely ready to leave the trauma behind us. But this time is for us to enjoy our new bonds and move in together. When the time is right, I’ll bring it up.
Chapter fifty
It’sMay,andwelost in the first round of the playoffs to the Senators. It was disappointing not going further into the season, but I can’t deny having some extra time with our Omega is a bonus. The remainder of the season had its learning curves. Surprisingly, having Charlotte move in wasn’t as big of an adjustment as I thought it would be. We’re all so much happier having her in the house with us. I actually look forward to coming home after practice and enjoy any time off we have. Not to mention that we’re eating like kings with Charlotte in the house.
I thought I loved Charlotte before we bonded, and even thought it couldn’t get deeper after the bond, but I was wrong. I fall in love with our Omega just a tad bit more every day. She’s the perfect fit into our pack, and she has helped my friendships with Eli and Anders grow to a level I never thought that they could. I mean, sure, fucking our Omega together requires a certain level of trust. But now that we’re officially a pack. Pack Hodges, to be exact—though we all still have our last names for our jerseys. It’s like I’ve finally found the strength to open up about my upbringing and let go of some of the anger that I’ve been holding onto. I’m such a lucky Alpha and man to have these people in my life.
That is my last thought before I’m whacked in the eye with a rogue hand. I wince and groan and turn on my side.
“Eli, you fuck, you smacked me.”
“Mmm, subconscious me must have thought you deserved it.”
I smack his face back, and he scoffs. “Dick.”
“Takes one to know one.”
There’s a feminine groan in between us as she pulls the covers up to her nose and bundles herself up like a burrito.
“It’s too early for this.”
Hank disagrees as he hops up on the bed, walking across all of us and shoving his big ass between me and Charlotte.
“And how is my good boy this morning?”
“I’m a good boy,” Eli says, and Charlotte shakes her head.
“Not when you wake me up this early with your bullshit.”
“We need to get up anyway,” I say, knowing that today is going to be a hard day, but it’s something that Charlotte needs. Honestly, it’s something that we all need. We packed up Charlotte’s childhood home last night and are staying at Eli’s cabin. He purchased it from his family, letting them know that it meant more to him than it would ever mean to them. They still haven’t really come around to Charlotte, our lifestyle, or honestly anything. A bunch of stuck up assholes, if you ask me. But they did give Eli the cabin. It’s kind of the staple of where our pack was formed, and it holds a lot of great memories.
