“To the bungalow?” I ask her. She nods her head, I take her soft hand in mine and portal us into the living room.

Epic mistake.

“Ah!” Blair shrieks as we watch Asmo fuck Stevie from behind while she goes down on Kas. All of them turn to face us.

“Fuck off,” Asmo says to me.

“Seems like you lot weren’t terribly concerned about what was going on with us. We’ll be in my room. Come get me when you’re done with… whatever this is.” I flail an arm in their direction and place a reassuring hand on Blair’s back and direct her to my room.

Blair takes in the surroundings, not looking impressed. “Not what I would have pictured for a demon’s bedroom.”

“I’m just renting the place.”

Blair sits down on the bed. Her fingers tracing the patchwork quilt covering it. “Now that things with Mara are done, what does that mean for you?”

I sit down next to her, putting a palm on her hand. “Well, currently I have a new demon to train and I plan on following her wherever she wants to go.”

She looks up at me from under her lashes. “That’s really what you want?”

“That’s really what I want.”

She shrugs her shoulders. “So we could go anywhere?” she asks.

“There are multiple dimensions to explore. I’ve primarily spent most of my time in Hell and on Earth.”

“Don’t you have a job to do?”

“Nepotism has its perks,” I say, smirking at her.

“Would you miss it? Hunting down demons, putting them in line?”

“No, but I would miss not waking up with you every day, seeing your dreams at night, your soft ass in my hands. Those are things I couldn’t live without.”

She smiles and leans her head against my shoulder. I still feel like she’s holding back from me, but at least she’s not flinching. “Do you know someone who can get Clover’s body out of my house?”

“Yeah, I know a guy.”

“He knows a guy,” she says softly. It’s not long till our moment is ruined and Stevie opens the door. She smells like sex and looks like she’s been completely defiled as she looks at her cousin.

“You’re good?” she asks.

Blair scoffs. “Clearly you’re doing better than me. Too busy to at least clean up the dead witch in our house.”

“Oh, yeah. I hate to say it, but I kind of forgot about her,” she says. Leaning against the doorframe and looking at Blair, she asks, “So what happened? How did you get her out of you?”

“You know, the simple case of I’m the devil’s daughter and Mara was a unhinged demon spawn looking for a vessel that could hold her. She has her own body now. She still seems bat shit crazy, but I guess I have a sister.”

Stevie looks uncomfortable. But Kas comes in and rubs her arm. “So I guess you got all the credit for her capture?” Kas says to Dax.

“No, I got told if I didn’t treat Blair right, my soul would get ripped to shreds.”

“I really needed Lucifer’s favor,” I hear Kas say.

“Why do you need Lucifer’s favor?” I ask. All of us looking at Kas.

“It’s complicated, and it doesn’t matter now. I guess it’s time I get going.”

“Wait, you’re leaving?” Stevie asks her.
