Harlow smirked, releasing the cart as he approached Foxx. Backing him up against the shelf, the vampire didn’t protest about being boxed in, but he did glare up at him. “You know, I think you are wrong about that. You do gain weight…” He ran his hands along Foxx’s padded waist before moving back to roughly grip the man’s ass and pull his body against his. Foxx whimpered, eyes widening. “All of it just goes right here.”
Despite his words obviously angering Foxx, he felt the vampire harden. “We are in public!” Foxx hissed, fangs flashing.
Harlow licked his lips. “Mmm, that we are. How about we quickly get done here so I can show you how much I appreciate that your habit of stuffing your face with garbage has given me such a nice fat ass to play with?”

The woman had to have a camera somewhere. There was just no other way she could so often call during the exact moments when he was either trying to sleep or had barely slept enough to function. “I’m going to stop you there, bumble bee. I feel we are about to enter the territory of ‘Charity does not need to know’ and it’s best that I don’t, for my own sanity.”
“Ruining my fun,” he growled.

“Nooo,” Foxx whined.

“You never seem to care when I sound sleepy,” Harlow drawled.
“It’s because I don’t!” she laughed.
Foxx huffed and sat up, face pinched, eyes glaring, hair sticking everywhere. Harlow snorted. The glaring eyes narrowed.
“Get on with it, Charity. Foxx is looking like he wants to eat me, and not in a fun way.” He turned the phone on speaker. The vampire was apparently not awake enough to realize he was exposing their very non work related activities to one of their coworkers.
“No… Nope… Didn’t hear that. I heard nothing.” She babbled for a moment before saying with too much pep, “Right, your new case. Congrats, your first werewolf case in a long while. And Foxx’s first ever.”
