I turned to look at him, a smile creeping across his face.
“You’re finally having my baby?”
“You’re not mad?”
His eyebrow quirked up. “Why on Earth would I be mad? Haven’t I been telling you this whole time I’ve been wanting to get a baby in you?” He reached out and grabbed my wrists, pulling me to his chest. I looked in his eyes, looking for a lie, but only saw his excitement. He put his hand on my belly.
“One down. Three to go.”
I gasped. “What the hell? You want four children?” My eyes were wide and shocked.
“Damn straight, woman. This belly will hold up to three more babies for me. Do you hear me,fiammetta?”Then he smashed his lips to mine, and proceeded to show me how happy he was to become a father.
Needless to say, he practically bragged to Maximo and Lorenzo that he got me pregnant.
I heard Dom’s voice in my ear, bringing me back to the present. “Where did you go,fiammetta?”
“Just remembering when we first found out about our little one.” His large hands gently rubbed my belly, getting a kick in response.
“Second best day of my life,” his voice tickled my earlobe. I giggled and squirmed against him.
“What was the first best day?” I tilted my head to look up at him.
“When you told me you loved me.” Then he kissed me softly.
