“I should’ve known you were gonna say something with your hateful ass.” Rosalina was about to respond until I gave her a look. She knew like the rest of us that Victoria was going to have some sort of reaction from her objecting to the marriage.
“Ahh shit now. It’s about that time.” Manuel said, smacking his hands together and rubbing them. Felix already made his move to lock the doors and Raul pressed a button for a screen to come down behind the reverend. I pulled a cigar out the pocket of my shirt, lit it and blew smoke directly in Victoria’s face.
“Cairo, you can’t smoke in here.” She was always worried about the wrong shit.
“And you should’ve known that everything you do in the dark comes to light.” She showed no sign of confusion and every signof being scared. Her eyes grew wide and the lump in her throat was a dead giveaway.
“Excuse me.” She tried playing coy but that shit never worked on me. I could always see straight through her and today was no different. I nodded in Raul’s direction and the video played.
“Glenn, you feel so good. Keep going.”More gasps from the family as I let the three minute video play. I had months and hours of footage between Glenn and Victoria but had it edited down to a few minutes. My tech guy put dates on each one to show I knew from the very beginning of their affair.
Some would ask why wait to address her cheating and to be honest, I never would have mentioned it because I deserved it. All the late nights and week long trips away from Victoria would stress anyone out, especially when I didn’t answer. Then, there were the women calling to say we were fucking and while most lied, the women I did fuck with on the side had no idea who Victoria was.
I could see why she believed the ones who were lying though because I admitted to cheating just not with them. I’m not even sure how those women got her phone number and didn’t care. However, if you’re gonna cheat never fuck with the help or someone close. That’s where both of them fucked up.
“Victoria, nooooo.” Her sister covered her mouth in shock. Walking over to Gabby, I blew smoke in her face.
“Funny how you’re saying no but you knew the whole time.” She put her head down.
“Shit, you tried fucking me for years and even last night.” I chuckled at Gabby ‘s mouth fall open as I told her secret.Why was she ashamed now tho when she wasn’t before?
“What?” Victoria snapped. How was she mad when she was fucking the help?
“Since I turned her down, she decided to let two niggas from my team run a train on her. She really thought they would ask me to spare her family from me.” I shook my head.
“Crazy how your pops had two whores for a daughter; only one was more discreet.” Gabby stood there in silence.I saw some of their family members shaking their heads.
“If I were you, I’d keep my eyes on the screen in order to see receipts of these incidents, dates, and the conspiracy to form an army to take me down.” I had to laugh at that. Glenn really had her believing he could take me.
“Oh, and let’s not forget the fake pregnancies from my loving fiancé.” I tilted her head back to face me with my index finger. Tears started to stream down her face because she knew I was aware of everything.
“Did you tell your family about the baby you’re carrying right now.?” The ultrasound photo popped up on the screen with a date from a week ago. Victoria started to vomit on the floor. Turning around to face her family, I had Emily step away from the bridesmaid line. They were no longer standing in one but still close together.
“You should’ve paid better attention to your friends because Emily has had my dick inside her for what, two years now.” Victoria looked over at her best friend. I could hear the women saying how Emily wasn’t shit and Victoria should beat her ass.
“Yea, her pussy was ok, head is decent but she loyal and kept her mouth shut.” Glancing around the church to make sure everything was in order, I gave the ok for Felix to start.
Backing away from the pews to avoid getting anything on me, I watched as the King Cobra DGX arrows were shot from above and into the necks of certain family members. Bodies were dropping and others were running towards the locked doors.
“Please let us go.” Someone cried out. Turning to make eye contact with Manuel, he pressed a button that made thechandelier I had filled with daggers camouflaged as light bulbs drop down.
CRASH!Pieces shattered inside the church as more bodies were laid down from being stabbed.
“Cairo why? This has nothing to do with them.” Victoria was on her knees crying as her family was being decapitated and murdered in front of her.
“I’m almost done.” Was my only response to her question. There wasn’t anything else to say. She knew the consequences of her actions and nothing she did or said would interfere with what I’m doing here. Raul brought her parents and sister to me.
“Please don’t hurt us. We told her to stop cheating but she wouldn’t listen.” Her mom was pleading and begging for their lives.
“You’re not dying for her sins.” I blew smoke in their faces as well.
“No, I’m taking your lives just because. I mean who would take the chance of leaving anyone alive after all this?” I had each of them look at the dead bodies spread out.
“We won’t say anything. Please don’t do this.”Gabby cried.
“Too bad I can’t trust your words.” Soon as I said that, Raul swung a piece of wire quickly across their necks making each one disconnect from their bodies. It’s a wire the military called a synthetic line Snapback that causes immediate death.It was so powerful it removed any body part it touched.
“Let’s go.” I had Emily follow behind me. Leaving Victoria there to mourn her family gave me pure satisfaction. I said a prayer, asked for forgiveness since all of that was committed in a church and headed towards the door.
