“Watch how you speak to me Bentley.”
“Not one time did I call you out yo’ name. Chill ‘fore I say something to you that’ll hurt yo’ feelings.”
“Don’t make me up yo’ stay in the hole nigga,” she threw back.
“Try me,” I said with my dick in tow. The only thing that would make her settle the fuck down and stop carrying on was me taking back the dick she obsessed over.
“I’ll shower when you’re done. Banks is outside the door waiting on you. Stop starting shit Bentley Atkins. This is my prison, not yours,” she voiced while stepping out, then wrapping herself in a robe.
Bitch you can have this muthafucka. It ain’t shit I’d invest in.
The locks turning on the steel door gained my attention. I stood from the cold cot and walked to the door. My mood had been on ten since I got in this four by four. Sierra ain’t stand on her word so that anger was boiling at this point. I had a few words for the warden next time I saw her. The doors opened and Officer Banks stood with a pair of cuffs in tow.
“I ain’t dong shit but washing my ass, aight? I done spent two days in this muthafucka and my balls ain’t touched a bar of soap.”
“Blame it on the warden, Atkins. Some people came through, and she had to be on her shit. Chunk it up and just let it be,” he said shaking his head.
I cocked my head to the side wearing a confused expression. “I’m trying to figure out why the fuck you think I give a fuck. She knew the fuckin’ stipulations to this shit and she ain’t stand ten toes. Make sure you let her know she cut the fuck off,” I voiced stretching my wrists.
“Mhmm,” he mumbled.
I was escorted from one side of the building to another. My cell block was C, and I had to say, I ain’t never been happier to see it. He tried walking me to my cell, and I hit him with that look. I wasn’t going nowhere but to the showers. He scoffed and pulled me in the direction I should’ve been going in the first place.
Once I was there, I took a full hour getting myself together. Banks was irritated but I really didn’t give a fuck. That bitch left me in there for two days without so much as a fuck you. I was trying my best to use every drop of hot water this muthafucka contained.
By the time I made it back to my cell, Old Skool was stepping out for some rec time. He looked me up and down and laughed. He always got a kick out of seeing me complain. In his eyes, I was Bentayga whining ‘bout not having my way.
“You good?” he questioned.
“I’m straight. You spoke to Drill yet?”
“I did at chow time. Why? Wassup?”
“He be at rec with you and the Kings, right?” Old Skool nodded, and I continued with, “Cool. Have him and his boys handle them ponks. I don’t want to hear shit other than them boys made it to the infirmary,” I said sternly.
He smiled while shaking his head from side to side. “You know if they rat you out, they throwing yo’ ass back in the hole.”
“I wish the fuckWarden Montelwould play with me like that. She already played on my top and I ain’t going for it no more.”
“I’ll take care of it. You doing visits today?”
“Yeah. I got one in like thirty. The homie supposed to be coming through and chopping it up with me.”
“I’ll have word for you after visits then. It shouldn’t take them boys long to knock ‘em down. When I get back though, be prepared to come with me to the library. You reading up on yo’case and joining Chats with Angels. You keep getting in trouble but all you need is a friend,” he jested.
Wrong nigga. Friends ain’t shit to me but foes waiting to fuck me over.
“I need my freedom out them crackers hands. That’s the only thing a nigga need. Let Drill know I’ll send something his way when it’s done.”
“Will do.” With that in mind, Old Skool was on ‘bout his business and so was I.
For the next few minutes, I got my shit together. I was waiting for Riya to come assist me to the visiting room. Kong had been the only one to come see me. Daisy answered all my calls, but she refused to come see me at my lowest. She felt like this was one foot in the grave for a nigga. It was cool though. Her answering was just as good.
Officer Riya showed moments later giving me the first admiring thing to see of the day. She walked me down without saying much of anything to me. I welcomed the peace and quiet, to be honest. Those two days had me thinking ‘bout more than a lot.
Entering the spacious room, I took the table to the right corner that sat in the back. It gave more privacy than the other tables did. Plus, I had some shit to discuss with Kong. A few people needed to get knocked including Windale’s dumbass.
A few minutes passed before the doors were opened and the visitors were let in. Kong was the first through the door with scanning eyes. He was a brotha fa sho. The man ain’t missed a visit since I got here. He damned sure earned his place next to me.
