Tori danced to two songs before the music changed a third time and she dropped to her hands and knees, crawling to the edge of the stage. She looked at me and crooked her finger. Louise nudged me hard.
“Go on, Max. It’ll be so funny.”
“Yeah, go Max!” Jackie cheered.
I groaned and frowned. “No, it’s so embarrassing.”
“No, it’s not, you’re hot as fuck and Tori will do all the hard work.”
By now, the crowd’s attention had turned to me, and complete strangers yelled and screamed encouragement. I scoured a hand down my face. Jesus fucking Christ, I was going to have to get up there, wasn’t I?
“I hate you,” I shouted to Louise, reluctantly getting to my feet. The club roared with applause, and I allowed Tori to drag me up onto the stage. The lights were impossibly bright and hot. I felt sweat break out across my brow just standing there.
“Thanks Max, I owe you,” Tori mumbled with a smile. “Don’t worry, I’ll show you what to do.”
I nervously looked out across the club. I could hear the cheering, but the lights were so bright, I couldn’t see much else. I tried to imagine there was no one out there watching me, and it helped a little.
Tori began dancing once more, but apparently this timeIwas the pole. She rubbed her semi naked body all over me and I stood still, trying not to look too awkward. She dropped suddenly to her knees in front of me, teasing her hands up my legs before spinning on her impossibly high heels. Once she was facing the crowd, she slowly got back up, this time rubbing her ass up against me. I laughed, unsure how else to react.
The music continued to thump, and Tori spun around me, all hands. I allowed her to touch me all over, though I noticed she was deliberately skirting around certain sensitive areas. Even drunk as I was, I could admire her professionalism. It was a hard line to walk without overstepping boundaries, but Tori made it look easy.
“Can I unbutton this?” she muttered breathlessly, plucking the buttons of my shirt. “You’ve got a great body.”
I wasn’t sure what to say. The more sensible part of my brain screamed no, but the larger, and drunker, part won me over. I nodded. Tori didn’t waste any time. She slid her hands beneath my shirt, slowly unbuttoning it up until it fell completely open. The crowd roared, and Tori continued to gyrate her hips, pretending to lick her way down my chest. She didn’t actually touch me, ever the professional, but to the onlookers it must have been convincing as they cheered and screamed.
“Do you think you can hold my weight?” Tori asked, dancing against me.
“Sure.”
“Great, ready?” Tori didn’t wait for me to reply. She turned to face me and leapt up into my arms. I caught her easily, surprising even myself. She smiled and leaned in. “You think you can get me up onto your shoulders?”
“Facing this way?” I asked with a breathless laugh. Tori just smiled. Taking a deep breath and steadying myself I heaved her weight up in my arms, and she expertly wrapped her thighs around my neck. The crowd went wild. She rolled her hips in time with the music for a moment before falling back. I held her tight, but she knew what she was doing. Tori expertly slid away from me, landing in a controlled backwards walkover. I was impressed.
Eventually, the dance was over, and I was allowed to do up my shirt and slide from the stage. I was greeted by whoops and claps on the back from various punters as I hurried back to Louise and Jackie. Both girls were red in the face from laughter.
“You both fucking owe me a drink.” I glared playfully.
“Oh my god, Max. That was the best thing I’ve ever seen,” Louise gasped. “I’ll buy your drinks forever. It was awesome.”
“You did so well!” Jackie shouted.
“Really? I felt awkward as fuck.” I laughed, downing my drink. I noticed Louise tapping something into her phone, the screen’s glow lighting her face. “Hey, I thought we agreed on no phones until home time?”
“Yeah, yeah.” She grinned. “I’m just posting that little video to Facebook. Don’t worry, I’ve tagged you.”
“You fucking didn’t!” I launched myself at her, trying to grab the phone but she evaded me with a laugh.
“The world needs to see it, Max!” She screeched.
“I’m going to kill you! Get me another drink, I think I’m going to need one.”
???
The rest of the night passed in a complete blur. I didn’t recall getting home, and when I woke, I was still fully dressed and felt like my brain had been put through a mincer. I groaned and cracked an eye open. What time was it?
I reached out, hunting for my phone on the bedside cabinet. When I didn’t find it, I sat up on my elbows. It wasn’t there.
“Where the—”
