Each Prospective Member shall begin his Journey to Initiation at the Bowels scroll located in the basement.
Prospective Members of Non-Legacy Status are required to offer the Sacrifice[*2]in presence of Knox Members, and such details shall be recorded in the Bowels scroll by a designated scribe.[*3]
Following completion of the Sacrifice, a designated Knox Member skilled in geomantic divination andenlightened in mindshall perform a geomancy reading to determine suitability of offering Membership to each Prospective Member, regardless of Legacy Status.
If such reading reveals it isnotfortuitous to offer Membership, Prospective Member(s) will be promptly excused from the premises.
Prospective Members who have completed the Sacrifice and whose geomancy reading is favorable shall move forward with their Journey to Initiation by continuing to the Heart scroll, where their name shall be recorded by a designated Knox scribe.[*4]
All Prospective Members shall continue to the third floor for the final step, the Brains scroll, where they shall read, learn, and recite preselected passages of the Knox’s Charter.[*5]
Upon conclusion of the three scrolls visit, the Prospective Member’s Journey to Initiation is considered complete. Prospective Members shall proceed to the parlor for an official recognition of Membership.[*6]
