“Ryan,” he introduces himself. “This is Matt and Nate. You tell them apart by the tattoos, and Nate does this weird thing with his nose when he gets emotional. He screws it up like a little girl and—”

“Shut up, ass fucker, I do not!” Nate jabs.

“See there… did you see it,” Ryan blurts out, and I smirk because I actually did see it.

Laughing along with Matt and Danger, Nate scowls before he places his tom-tom in the van.

I swallow and take a deep breath.I’m going to like these guys.

“Nice to meet you… all of you,” I say.

Danger comes back around to stand by me. “Stop flirting with my girl, and let’s get back to the hotel. I have better things to do,” Danger chides.

My eyes open wide at his wordsmy girl.

“Yeah, yeah, you’re just jealous ’cause she likes me more,” Ryan teases, hopping into the back of the van.

Danger rolls his eyes, and we follow him in while Nate and Matt slide into the front.

The drive back to the hotel is lively, with plenty of witty banter between Ryan and me. It seems easy and fun to pick onothers, even if you don't know them well. Ryan and I have an instant brother-sister connection, and I like him right away. Our interactions seem to entertain Danger, who watches us with a wide grin, clearly enjoying the fun banter.

For the first time in a while, I feel genuinely happy and at ease, and I have to admit, it’s nice to feel appreciated for once.

Chapter Eight

LUNAR

We arrive back at the hotel, andeveryone files off the elevators to head to their rooms. I have to admit I’m starting to feel a little nervous. Danger knows why I’m here and what will happen in his room tonight. There is no denying that.

“Night, guys,” I call out, and Ryan winks while Nate and Matt continue to argue about the importance of the reverb adjustment, not even noticing that I’ve spoken.

Danger swipes the key card to his room, and I take a deep breath. The hairs on my arms stand on end with the adrenaline pumping through my system. The door clicks open, and he looks at me before pushing the door wide, giving me space to enter first.

The overhead light is off, but the bedside lamp casts an amber hue, filling the room with a charming, almost romantic ambiance. I can’t help but smile when we walk in, but the silence is deafening, my pulse droning constantly in my ears. My body is already throbbing in all the right places with the anticipation of what’s to come.

He turns to face me, taking me in his arms and wrapping them around my waist before he pulls our bodies together. I slide my arms around his neck, staring straight into his eyes.

“You’re so fucking beautiful.” His voice is low, gravelly, so fucking sexy.

Smiling, I bite my lip. No one has said that to me in a long time. In fact, I can’t remember the last time anyone said those words to me, so I answer anxiously, “Thank you.”

“You look nervous. We don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do.” The sincerity in his eyes tells me he’s being truthful.

I love that he’s said that.

It makes me want him even more because I know how much he wants me.

The fact he’s willing to wait makes me realize how much of a good guy Danger actually is.

“No, I want you. I want you to fuck me. And I want you to fuck me like you mean it.”

A slow smile creeps up on his face as he grinds his cock into my pussy. “Jesus Christ… you’re one hell of a woman, Lunar.”

“You have no idea, big guy.”

I press my lips to his while his hands snake around my back. One slides into my hair, gripping into a tight fist as his tongue dances with mine. His kiss is hungry, full of need and want, and while I kiss him back, I know I’m in for a good night.

With a deep growl, he pushes me up against the wall, the force causing my back to smack against it hard, and a small “oomph” escapes my mouth into his. The dominance in the push is something most women would find annoying, but it only turns me on. I’m used to things being rough with men, so this type of control heightens my arousal.
