“I know what you mean.”
“Good girl. They were on fire tonight. They’re going places.”
I look back at the guys who are laughing as they pack up. “You think so?”
“I know so.”
Danger bounds over, his muscles rippling as he jogs, the vision a sight to behold. “What do you think, Techie?” Danger asks, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
“Good, brother, very good.”
“So you’ll keep representing us?”
Techie laughs. “Well, yeah. Right now, I am kinda like your manager. And yes, I’m suitably impressed. I’ll have your schedule to you tomorrow. But for now, I gotta go get me some club pussy.”
I shake my head and smirk. “Say hi to Jess for me.”
“Oh, I will, and Emma.” He waggles his eyebrows, and I push him before he walks away.
“Womanizer,” I murmur under my breath.
“Techie’s going to have a threesome with two club girls?” Danger asks.
“Don’t overthink it, Danger,” I tell him. I don’t want him thinking about me and what I get up to at the club with the brothers.
“Okay, you ready to go?” he asks.
Nodding, I wrap my arm around his waist. “Sure am.”
We walk out of the bar through the back area. Ryan, Matt, and Nate have already come through with all their gear and are stacking it into the van. Danger lets go of me and starts helping them pile stuff in, so rather than standing around like some sort of groupie, I step up to help too. I hand Ryan—I think his name is—a box.
He smiles, taking it gracefully. “Thanks, enjoy the show?”
“Sure did. You’re really great on the guitar.”
He nods his head and grins. “Yeah… I am.”
“Wow! And modest too.” I smirk.
He grabs another box. “Well, pinky, when you’re as hot as me, you can afford to be a little smug.” The twinkle in his eye lets me know he’s joking, and just by this interaction, I can tell he doesn’t take life too seriously.
He isn’t like Danger and the other two guys, as in drop-dead gorgeous and a body to drool over. Ryan is still well-built. His biceps are amazing, but he doesn’t have abs of steel. To be honest, I think there’s a tiny beer gut under that shirt. He’s good-looking but doesn’t have the panty-soaking effect that Danger, Matt, and Nate have. He’s the oddball of the band, and I’m pretty sure he’s a little older than them, too.
“You certainly are hot. I can’t keep my hands off you. It’s like you have some crazy magnetism or something. I can’t control it!” I tease, moving my hands out in front of me like they’re being drawn to him, but I’m fighting the pull.
He laughs, and Danger smiles as they continue packing the back of the van.
“Alas, my love, it’s not meant to be. For my best pal, Danger, picked you up tonight. I’m all about bros before hos—”
I interrupt with a scoff, dropping my hands to my hips and tilting my stance with a smirk. “Did you just call me a ho?”
“Nah, you misheard me. I didn’t get to finish my sentence.”
“Oh, go on, please enlighten me. This should be good,” I tease.
“I was gonna say bros before hotties, ’cause you know, you’re so fine and all that.”
Danger shakes his head, and I purse my lips. “Much better. With words like that, you and me, Ryan, we’ll get along just fine.” I put my hand out for him to shake. “Lunar… I’m with Danger, but I’ll be nice. I’ll only bite when you call me a ho.”
