“I’m figuringthat out,” I panted out as he rolled a nipple between his fingertips. “I haveto admit, it makes me feel a little naughty.”
“You shouldn’tfeel naughty, sweetheart,” he drove deeper, burying himself to the hilt.“Especially not with me. You can say anything you want.”
I dug my nailsinto his shoulders and demanded, “Fuck me, Phin.Hard.”
My manunderstood the assignment, linking my fingers with his and dragging them overmy head while he slammed into me over and over until neither of us could holdback our release.
“This gets somuch better,” he breathed out.
“Yes, it does.”
Phin pulled meclose, kissing my throat as he pulled me close. “God, you’re sweet. You tastelike, I don’t know… ice cream or something.”
“Don’t saythat,” I admonished. “Now Ireallywant gelato.”
“I’ll take youto get gelato tomorrow,” Phin promised.
A few of theshops along ‘the Mile’ had been closed by the time we were finished with ournecessary shopping endeavors, so I’d missed out on my very favorite dessert. But with that promise on his lips as he pulled me close, I fell asleep almostimmediately, excited about the prospects of exploring more of the city the nextday.
As I slept, Idreamt. And as I dreamt, I found myself dreaming of ice cream.
Gelato inparticular.
And that’s whenall hell broke loose.
I’m not entirelysure when I realized I was no longer sleeping on a soft mattress, but rather, lying on a hard floor, but it took me far longer than it should have.
As I came awake,I glanced around, and gasped. “Phin?”
I was no longerin our bedroom, but in some kind of shop. A candy store, maybe? It was dark, other than the light of the moon shining through the windows… and I was naked.

Phineas
The smell of toffee apples wasn’tthe first thing I noticed when I came awake. Neither was Lennox’s voice in myhead as I reached for her. It was the sheer panic assaulting me forcing meawake in the first place. I sat up with a growl, turning to find Lennox’s sideof the bed empty.
Phin?
Noxy, whereare you?I threw the covers off and headed into the bathroom. It was alsoempty.
I don’t know.
“Fuck!” Ihissed, pulling on a pair of jeans and a shirt as I simultaneously psychicallyattempted to calm her.
Honey, whatthe heck is going on?
I could stillhear the fear in her voice, and it broke my heart.I don’t know. Can youdescribe where you are?
No. All Iknow is I’m in some kind of candy store, I think. It’s dark, and I’m freakingnaked.
Can you lookoutside and maybe see the names of some other shops around?
Naked,Phineas.Naked.
Right, sorry,love.
I think I seesomething.
