“Give that back to me right now,” she said.
“No. You’ll just call the cops, and I don’t need them getting in my way,” I said pulling up the tracker app on my phone, which located Leo’s phone instantly.
“Gotta go,” I said, turning to leave.
“Oh, my fucking god, you neanderthal piece of shit. Don’t you dare turn your back on me,” she snarled. “And give me back my fucking phone.”
I leaned down so I was face-to-face with her. “Lady, I don’t know who the fuck you—”
She got even closer and mean-mugged me. “I’m Bellamy, asshole. We talked on the phone yesterday. You might not know who I am, but I sure as hell know who you are, biker boy, so how about you shove your tiny dick back in your pants, give me my phone back, and shut the fuck up so I can find Leo!”
I had to admit I was impressed by this badass bitch’s bark but wasn’t about to let her run my ass. “Well, Bellamy. You’renot gonna do shit,” I said. “We’regonna find Leo while you hang here, safe and sound.”
“Yeah, I was really safe and sound when men broke in and busted up the joint, taking someone Indigo would likely put herself in more danger to protect, so excuse me if I don’t have time to stand here and spar with you.” She jabbed a finger at my chest. “I have to get Leo back into his bed before my best friend finds out he’s gone.”
“I’m gonna leave a couple of guys to help clean up and fix anything broken. You’re gonna quickly tell me everything you know about what happened here, thenI’mgonna go get Leo.”
“The cops—”
“No cops,” I growled. “We’ll be faster than them anyway.”
She crossed her arms and scowled at me. “No bullshit. How quickly can you find him?”
“I’ve installed tracking software on his phone and as of now it’s actively sending a signal. The sooner I leave, the sooner I can bring him back. No bullshit.”
She threw her hands in the air. “Fine, but I swear to whatever God will punish you the most in the afterlife, that if you don’t bring that boy back in one piece, I will personally end your life.”
If I hadn’t already picked a sassy, sexy savior-type, Bellamy would be right up my alley.
Indigo
Iwoke to the sound of my father arguing with someone and opened my eyes to find Bellamy shaking her head in defiance. “She’d want to know.”
“If you say anything—”
“Stop,” I begged, my head pounding. That was when I noticed Brianna moving out from behind my dad.
