“Don’t even need to apologize then, if you’re naked.”
“What if I elbow you in your nose?”
“Are you naked?”
“Sure, in this scenario, yes, I’m naked.”
“You don’t need to apologize.”
“Umm, what if I slam my head into yours...accidentally, of course.”
“Again. Are you naked?”
“Yes.”
“You don’t need to apologize,” he repeated.
I smiled. “What if I’m not naked?”
“Then you need to apologize.”
“So, what I’m hearing you say, is that as long as you see the titties and bury yourself deep inside the lady bits, I can do anything to you without consequence.”
He chuckled, kissing me again. “Pretty much.”
“You’re like the perfect guy,” I said in a sing-song voice.
“I’m aware. I’m the whole fucking package,” he retorted, sliding out of me. “I’m gonna get rid of the condom.”
I watched him walk away, but he returned quickly, and slid back into bed, pulling me against his chest.
Rain was coming down in sheets outside as I snuggled close. “How did you know about this place?”
“My parents’ own it. Up until a few years ago, Aidan kept horses downstairs and lived up here.”
“No more horses, huh?” I asked.
“He and his wife, Kim, own property in Portland, so they keep their horses there now.”
“Oh, wow. Still, even if no one lives here, it’s so clean.”
His hand stroked my back. “That’s because I cleaned it.”
“You did? When?”
“This morning. I came by and did a quick clean and changed the sheets.”
I smiled, kissing his chest. “You did a great job.”
He chuckled. “I was motivated.”
“Apparently,” I said. “I really enjoyed this, Jax. Thanks.”
He wrapped my hair around his hand and tugged gently. “You sound like it’s never going to happen again.”
“It’s not.” I met his eyes. “Is it?”
“I’d like it to. You?”
