I can’t stop smiling like an idiot. Bryan came to me with his request of being his best man, which I accepted. It's oddly touching.

I’m on my way to speak to the other guys. Whistling, I find my brothers in the media room, as usual. It's a great place to spend time together and just be guys.

Frost looks up, seeing my smile. “What’s up?”

I explain it all to them, and some confusion crosses some faces for a moment, but they all agree.

Razor pipes up. “What if we...?”

My smile just grows with each word that leaves his mouth.

This is even better. This is shaping up to be an epic event.

“I’m down,” I reply.

We are buzzing with conversation, and my heart fills with a still foreign feeling of true joy.

I have everything I've ever wanted.

Chapter 39

Synn

I've gatheredup all eight of us guys. I have a good idea of something that will wow our girl.

This just ups the ante on my original idea. Smiling, I look around at all of them.

“So, I have another idea I think we should all do.”

I quickly explain, and yeses come from all of them, except Harris.

“Even me? It's not something I’d normally do,” he tries lamely.

“Don’t be a pussy,” Razor quips.

Harris stands straighter. “Fine. I'll do it—for her. Pretty Girl deserves the world.”

We discuss the specifics, then all head out to do everything we need to do to surprise Pazessca.

I can’t fucking wait.

A pair of hands grab me from behind, and another hand clapsover my mouth. Something is pulled over my head, and I start cursing, my voice muffled by the hand.

What are these idiots up to now? I know it’s them; I can smell their individual scents.

I'm put into a car and buckled in. My mouth is now free, so I start cursing them out. “What the fuck? What are you doing?”

Razor's dark chuckle sounds, followed by Trikk’s gleeful laugh.

Dammit. I'll wait until we get to the destination, then unleash hell on them.

After what seems like an eternity, but is only about ten minutes or so, the car slows to a stop. My door pops open, and I’m lifted into Synn’s strong arms. He grumbles low in his chest, confirming that’s who is holding me.

I'm carried inside somewhere really quiet. This is too weird. After several steps, I’m deposited onto my feet. The hood is whipped off my head, and I look around in confusion. I'm alone in small room, with seats lined up in rows.

“The hell?” I mutter.
