“I said slow, Oakley.”
Crap.
I sniffed, my stomach rolling for a whole new reason. My arms wrapped around my torso, hoping it’d hide the shaking from within.
“I have very few rules here,” he said, standing and taking both of our bowls, mine empty “One is to always follow my directions. If I tell you to dosomething, I expect it to be followed. That’s twice in ten minutes you ignored me.”
Double crap.
Knowing I was already in trouble, I slipped from the chair, falling to my knees. The cold tile seeped into my skin as I bent over, touching my forehead to the floor, pushing my butt up, and waiting for punishment.
Following my instincts sometimes helped. Most of the time, not really. But what else did I have?
Disappointment fell over me like a boulder crashing down from a hill. It sat on my shoulders, heavy, weighing me down.
A thumb snuck into my mouth, where I clamped my teeth around it so I didn’t make a single sound.
Sabastian’s feet walked away, then the water turned on. I stayed right where I was, my legs falling asleep beneath me.
Breathing as shallowly as I possible could, I kept my ears on every single movement the man-made. His shooed feet shuffled as he moved from one step to the next. His huffs of breath were deep in his chest. The dishes clanked as he put them in the dishwasher.
Then, he walked back towards me. He stopped in front of me. “Stand up, Oakley.”
Expecting the order, I was surprised it was spoken sadly, almost.
I quickly stood, hoping my legs would hold me up. My eyes stayed pinned to the floor, now at his feet. My toes flexed against the floor where I stood.
“Go get ready for bed. Use the bathroom, and wash your face. There’s a toothbrush under the sink.”
With tears clouding my vision, I turned and walked as fast as I dared. My cheeks were heated in embarrassment.
Would my punishment be given in the bedroom? Was it something I’d never had before?
I did everything I could as quickly as I could in the bathroom. It took forever to pee as I sat on the toilet, pushing my penis downward to make sure there wouldn’t be a single drop outside of the bowl.
I shivered, remembering having to lick up a mess one time. I didn’t want a repeat of that. No, thank you.
By the time I was done, Sabastian thankfully wasn’t in the room yet. Laying on the bed on my back, hands at my sides, I waited with bated breath.
I wasn’t even sure this was the bed I was to sleep in. Maybe I was to stay on the floor. But then I remembered that Collin said there was cream to put on to help soothe the burning ache, but I didn’t know where that was. And Sabastian hadn’t said anything about it.
Before I could get up and relook in the bathroom, since maybe I had overlooked it by accident, I heard heavy steps in the hallway. I once more checked that I was lying just like Sir liked me too. My hands were firmly at my sides, waiting to be tied down so the torture could start.
“Lift your shirt.” His voice startled me enough to do what he said almost instantly.
My eyes flashed open as something cold was swiped around the front of me.
“Just the cream,” Sabastian hushed.
He didn’t touch more than he needed before he had me turn to my front and he could cover my backside. Instantly, the heat cooled, and my body relaxed just a bit.
Sabastian put the shirt back over me, then pulled up a blanket from the end of the bed. I turned enough to look at him questionably.
What was my punishment for misbehaving?
“You’ve been through a lot the last couple of days,” he spoke, capping the tube of cream. “I’m not going to hurt you for not knowing what I wanted of you. I’ll be clearer next time. Tonight, you are to rest. If you need to use the bathroom, do so. You are not to leave this house. If you do, the doors and windows have an alarm that will wake me up and anything Donny did to you will be a piece of cake compared to what I’ll do.”
I nodded once. He didn’t have to worry about me trying to run, least of all in the dark.
