Dark red silk.

My cheeks heated as I turned away from the mirror after washing my hands. Not having underwear on underneath the material was causing my mind to go to the back burner as something woke up below the belt.

Taking a deep breath, I talked to myself in my mind. Now wasn’t the time to focus on things that could wait until later. Like way later. Or when I took a shower, although I knew my dick wouldn’t get hard there anyways.

Turning back to the sink, I splashed cold water on my face, and thankfully that worked well enough.

Forcing my thoughts to other things, I left the bathroom.

Beckett and Noah were just sitting down at the small table, leaving the last chair for me. I clamped my lips tight, almost wishing I could eat somewhere else. Technically, I probably could. It was, after all, my apartment. But something about the way Beckett looked at me as I took a seat said otherwise.

Once again, with that gaze of his, my knees wanted to hit the carpet. Something deep inside of me wanted to kneel at his feet, letting him feed me piece by piece.

I cleared my throat as I reached for my plate. It had a couple of slices of sausage, scrambled eggs, and a slice of toast. A cup of orange juice sat above the plate.

“Is everything okay?” Beckett asked me when I had yet to start eating.

No, I thought. “Yep.”

Getting the message to my hand from my brain, I slowly began to eat. I listened with one ear to the other two talk about...well, I really can’t say what they were talking about. There was a rushing sound in my mind as the pure need to kneel before Beckett consumed me. It was almost to the point where I couldn’t ignore it.

“...has to work tonight. So maybe on the next day, he has off. Unless you’re not going to go in. We can call you in sick for another shift.”

“Huh?” I shook my head, eyes bouncing between the two as I tried to catch up.

“Are you sure you’re okay?” Noah asked, tilting his head to the side like a dog.

“Yeah. Sorry. My mind is still a bit slow.” It was a good enough lie that he bought it. “What were you saying?”

“When you’d like to go to the zoo.”

“Oh.” I swallowed a sip of the juice, carefully setting the cup back on the table. My eyes landed on my mostly empty plate. Maybe I really was still out of it. “You two can go.”

Plus, there were only so many times someone could enjoy the zoo. I was not one of those kinds of people who could go every year or every month. Once every ten years or so was more than good for me.

“What’s something you’d like to do, Asher? I know many things Noah enjoys, so don’t answer for him.”

Noah huffed, but I felt like I was a deer caught in highlights with how Beckett looked at me.

Kneel for you, was the first thought that popped up, and since that wasn’t something I could say, I opened and closed my mouth, at a loss for words. “Uh....”

“Just one thing.”

I shifted, finally able to drop my eyes from his. “Read, I guess.”

I still didn’t know what I liked. Noah was always the one wanting to do things, and it was always easier to go along with it. It was better than what I’d done in the past, and I knew Noah wouldn’t take me to some crazy place.

“What do you like to read?”

You do not want to know that answer, I thought. Before I could find words to at least explain what I read, Noah spoke up, almost too quickly.

“Strange things, Daddy.”

“You read them, too.” I had to make sure Beckett knew that because if it hadn’t been for Noah, I wouldn’t be reading what I did. Although, I did have to admit – I read strange things. We did share the same reading account because it was just easier. And Noah would not want his parents to know what he possibly did or did not read.

Noah just shrugged, the least bit bothered by that fact.

“Now I’m intrigued,” Beckett stood and began to clear the table. “But I have a feeling I should be slightly careful about that. Who knows what the two of you get up to then.”
