Slowly, as my mind continued to settle, things began to click into place.

The reason I felt so different being flogged by a nameless man, the reason I was so close to subspace, which didn’t normally happen, the feelings of contentment, Judah’s unexplained presence––it all suddenly made complete sense.

It was Judah.

Leaning forward, still feeling the after effects of my session, I gently pressed my lips to his. Soft and pliable against my own, the pressure built as we both gave everything we had to the need that burned deep within our souls. Pulling him closer, my tongue slipped past his lips in a silent request for access. The growl that bubbled up from Jude’s chest was nearly enough to send me reeling out of control.

Before I was ready, he pulled back and gave me the widest, most innocent smile I had ever seen.

I cupped his face with my hand as I leaned forward, my lips grazing his once again. This time, softer and more tender. There was no thought, only instinct. When I pulled back, we were both breathless. We had kissed before, but this time was different. More powerful.

“Hi.”

“Hi, Kid.” I half expected a grumble of protest for using the nickname, but was pleasantly surprised when I got another smile. Though this one was filled with an emotion that I’d come to know quite well. I was just grateful I wasn’t the only one swimming in it anymore.

“I lo––”

“You two done yet?”

“Go away, Eli,” Jude waved his hand in the air in a shooing motion, which only earned him a laugh from Eli.

“No can do.”

I turned to look in his direction when Jude took advantage, pressing his face into the crook of my neck again. This time, however, he wasn’t shy about peppering soft kisses against the hollow of my throat.

“I’m here to make sure you are both level-headed,” Eli continued.

Yeah, we are anything but that,I thought to myself, reveling in the feeling of Judah’s lips on my skin. Which I’m sure Eli noticed immediately when my eyes rolled into the back of my head after Jude lightly bit my shoulder.

“Jude, hon,” Eli coaxed. “Take a breather.”

That was not at all what I wanted, but then I remembered where we were. Neither of us needed to draw any more attention to what was going on between the two of us. Nor did we need to make a fool of ourselves in front of everyone here.

“Sorry.” I could feel his embarrassment seeping into my skin as he put a bit of distance between us.

“Perhaps the two of you could talk things out without wanting to fuck one another in the middle of the club?” Eli suggested a few minutes later, our hands continuing to rove one another’s bodies.

“We can try, but I make no promises.” Jude peered over at him and whatever Eli saw on his face caused him to burst out laughing.

As for me…well, I was in trouble.

Big trouble.

“How about we take this back to my place?” I questioned, swallowing around the lump lodged in my throat. The last thing I needed was an audience to make an utter fool of myself in front of. Especially if I was wrong.

“Are you able to drive?” Eli piped up, having overheard my question. “Mistress Destri would have my head if I allowed you to leave before you had come down.”

“Yes. I’m…stable now.”

Horny as all fuck, but I can drive. I think. Maybe.

Eli nodded before standing. “Alright then. I’ll see you both at brunch tomorrow morning. Jude knows the place. Be there at eleven. Not a minute later.”

“Yes, Sir,” Jude piped up without hesitation.

Judah

The front door of Zeek’s place was barely closed before he had me pulled against his chest in a tight embrace. I couldn’t be sure if it was the after effects of what had happened a little over an hour ago or if we both felt lost without the other. But whatever it was, I didn’t care because I had Zeek.
