“Clean up the mess,” I demanded, walking away from the body.
“Yes, Sir,” they said in unison.
I knew they would do as told, fearing their own lives. It was pretty simple—do as I say and you live. Ignore me, then you die.
Simple.

I was only gone an hour and a half by the time I got home. I tried my best to not be gone longer than an hour, but things happened. I had walked through the basement, checking to make sure most of the girls were still in working order to keep money coming in. Then I had to look over the incoming money to make sure my new accountant was keeping track of it all correctly.
So far, everything looked to be going good. It just better stay that way.
Walking into the house, I found Travis texting on his phone and my wife fast asleep curled beside him, head in his lap. I was glad to see her sleeping, knowing that it’d help get her mind and body back to being normal.
“Hey,” I whispered.
“Hey,” Travis said, setting his phone down. “Figured you’d be gone longer.”
“Nah,” I replied. “Didn’t take too long. Plus, I didn’t want to leave her for too long.”
“Yeah, well, I don’t think she’s gonna let me leave,” he laughed lightly.
I looked down and saw what he meant. She had one arm wrapped around his leg, holding him from leaving.
“How was she?” I asked, leaning against the back of the couch, my hands bracing my weight.
“Okay, I guess,” Travis shrugged. “A little spacey, but not bad. I’ve seen worse.”
That was true. With working in the club, we had seen a number of subs go into subspace and even dropspace. It wasn’t always pretty.
“How are you doing?” I asked.
“Fine,” he grumbled out. “Can’t wait for tonight.”
“Withholding orgasm?” I asked, hiding my laugh at his look of horror about me knowing. “I am a Dom, Travis. It’s common and something that Kenna loves to do.” It was one of the main things she was known for, and a reason why she didn’t keep subs for longer than a month or two when she wanted something a bit more serious.
“Great,” he muttered out.
“It gets easier,” I stated.
“Not when she fucking teases me constantly!” he growled out.
I couldn’t help but bark out a laugh, which in turn woke Avidya.
She rolled over, meeting my eyes as soft smile spread across her lips.
“Now who’s the one that has it bad?” Travis joked.
“Hush,” Avidya said, patting Travis’s knee. A moment later, she pushed herself up with a muttered word about having to pee. I loved that she spoke her mind, and the last couple of days she had done that more.
Once she was out of earshot, Travis turned to me, a look of concern on his face. “She looked really pale earlier. She was tired, but I think something else was up. She seems better now.”
“Thanks,” I said. “I’ll be keeping an eye on her.”
“Could just be the after effects, but I worry,” he stated. “And Racheal agreed to meet us.”
“Good, When?” I asked.
