Mary asks me and I still can’t bring myself to say anything.

“Hey Adonis, are you good?”

I hear Noah ask and I look up at him.

“She told me she loves me.”

I tell him and the girls squeal while the boys both look at me with death glares.

“What did you say?”

Elizabeth asks.

“I-I told her she couldn’t love me.”

Suddenly they all looked at me shell shocked.

“I told her that and then she ran out on me.”

“Well, we all better go, and fucking find her.”

Mary says and the boy’s nod.

We all begin to look for her in the house, I go outside and look in the greenhouse. The irises are beautifully lit with the light from the moon, but she isn’t there. I heard the girls outside looking for her, so I go back into the house.

“Adonis, let's check over here.”

Noah says and I nod. We looked almost everywhere when we came to the study and looked but she wasn't there.

“Adonis, just let her go.”

Noah says.

“What-”

I look at him with a sneer.

“You know how this will end; she’s making you weak!”

He starts to say as he becomes aggravated.

“Noah-”

I try to say but he continues.

“Adonis, we had one mission: get rid of Maxwell and get rid of her. At this point you are dragging the mission out. You won’t be able to do it. You’ve fallen in love with her. You think your father will let this happen?” Noah says and I feel my blood begin to boil.

“I am not weak.”

I tell him and he smirks.

“Yes, you are, love has made you weak. She has made you weak!”

I punched him in the face letting my rage get the better of me.

“She doesn’t make me weak; I don’t fucking love her. She was nothing more than another whore I could stick my cock in. She’s nothing more than a pig for slaughter.”

I tell him as he regains his composure.
