She sings the final part of the song. I look into her eyes as the final bit of the song plays and pull her into an all-consuming kiss. I pour every ounce of emotion I can into this kiss. I pull away from her and rest my forehead on hers with my eyes closed. Just like Odysseus, I am just a man, and I would do anything for her.

The lights come on and Adonis pulls away from the kiss. He kissed me and I felt as if he was trying to tell me something with that kiss. Looking into his eyes I can see he is pleading with me, almost like they are trying to tell me not to love him.
I place my hand on his cheek, and he sighs closing his eyes. He turns his head and kisses the palm of my hand. As he does, the pleading in his eyes turns dark and needy. He bites my palm, and I gasp, and my breathing becomes shallow. He notices this and smirks at me.
“That was amazing.”
We hear Noah say with tears in his eyes. The heavy tension between us was broken and we all laughed seeing Noah emotional.
“Yeah, it was a great play the way Odysseus took down those suitors!”
Liam chimes in and Elizabeth giggles
“Lillian you can sing!”
I hear Noah say and I can feel the heat rush to my cheeks.
“Yeah, she can! We have always told her she should be a singer!”

Adonis finishes Mary's sentence for her, and she nods in agreement. I looked up at him and saw something in his eyes but just as quickly as I saw it, it disappeared.
The boys went to get our coats while the girls and I went to the restroom.
“Lilly the way Adonis has been looking at you all night is intense.”
Liz tells me and I smile rolling my eyes.
“No, she’s right! He is totally in love with you!” Mary squeals and I start to blush.
“Well, I, uh I love him.”
They both turned to me in shock.

Elizabeth looks at me stunned. I never wanted to love someone, not after Maxwell. Love was something I never thought I could feel again. When it comes to Adonis, I know I love him. The way he is always protecting me, showing me love and affection. The greenhouse he made just for me with all those Irises. I can’t help but fall in love with him.
“Are you sure Lills?”
I hear Mary ask me and I smile nodding to her.
“I know I haven’t been very sure about a lot of things lately, but I know he doesn’t make me feel the way Maxwell used to. He makes me confident in my body, he sees me for me. That’s all I have ever wanted.”
I say not realizing I was rambling.

I look at them and they have tears in their eyes.
