I shook my head at them but smiled. “He’s… amazing.” I gushed, letting out a deep, satisfying sigh.

They looked at each other, then to me with big smiles on their faces. “Annnd was it good?” Betty asked.

I paused, but it felt good to be able to talk to someone. “He was really good. Like, I’ve never had sex like it in my life, good. He has a filthy mouth.” I grinned, wiggling my eyebrows, then placing the back of my hand to my forehead, I let out a long sigh and pretended to swoon.

“Did he get you to the end?” Betty asked, referring to an orgasm.

“Twice last night, and again today.” I grinned and laughed at their squeals of delight.

I toyed with the charm on my necklace, my cheeks flushing with heat. I rubbed my thighs together as I thought back to how it felt to have Morgan’s hands and mouth on my body. The feel of his cock inside me. Hearing him moaning my name. My heart rate picked up and I swallowed hard, trying to focus back on the girls.

“That’s great. It’s been a while for you. Are you going to see him again?” Lauren asked.

The smile fell from my face. “I don’t know yet. My body is saying yes, fuck him, fuck him lots, but my mind is saying don’t do it again, you’ve already gone too far. I spent time with him and his son today.” I frowned and bit at the inside of my cheek.

My mouth felt dry and my body heavy. My mind raced through the pros and cons of seeing him again or putting a stop to it completely.

“Andie, you have to let yourself go. Have a bit of fun,” Betty said, looking at me with a pitiful face.

“Look, he’s a big boy,” Lauren added quickly. “You’ve told him you don’t want a relationship and he agreed. So, just have fun with him. You never know, you might grow feelings for him.”

“I already like him a lot,” I admitted.

“Then go for it, you deserve a good man, and Morgan is a good man.” Lauren grinned at me and playfully slapped her hand on my leg.

Betty fidgeted happily at Lauren’s side, moving from one knee to the other and grinning madly at me.

“Yeah, he is, but I can’t give him any more kids and he is such a good father to Charlie. I can’t take the chance to be a father again away from him.” I shook my head softly and looked down at my hands.

My heart ached when I saw him earlier that day with Charlie, how happy, loving, and attentive he was. He had said he wanted more children and that was something I couldn’t give him. What was the point of starting something now when I knew it would only end in the future? One day, he would start to resent me not being able to have children and it would all come crumbling down around us.

“Sweetheart, it is up to you. We don’t want to push you. We just want you to be happy,” Betty said, reaching out and patting my hand.

“Yeah, I know. I appreciate what you’re both saying, but I need to figure it out on my own.” Desperate to change the subject, I asked, “Now, tell me, what’s new with you two?”

Betty began explaining she’d been flirting with Lawson, Morgan’s friend. I listened as she became more animated with her hand gestures and couldn’t keep still. The smile on her face was infectious and I couldn’t help but grin back. My heart grew for her, I was happy that she was happy.

Lauren had been seeing a mystery guy but wouldn’t tell us who, even when we kept repeating the question. She just turned bright red and giggled, her eyes took on a faraway look and she had a silly smile on her face. We eventually gave up nagging her, and I resisted the urge to do more digging into it. It was obviousthat she liked the mystery man but wasn’t ready to share him with us yet. I had no doubt that in time, she would.

At the club that night, the booth felt empty without Morgan and the boys. I tried to keep my mind off him, but I kept wandering back to his beautiful blue eyes and cute smile.

“Hey, you haven’t really been with us tonight. You’ve got a faraway look in your eyes. Why don’t you head off and we’ll lock up?”

I jumped when Lauren put her hand on my arm and smiled knowingly at me. “Are you sure? My mind isn’t on work right now.” I was already getting up and out of my seat, my heart was still hammering after Lauren scaring me. I had been so far gone in my own head.

“Yeah, we can see that. Go call your fuck buddy. Maybe he’ll cheer you up with more orgasms, lucky bitch.” Betty smiled.

“Okay, just make sure to keep Kirrick and Jameson with you until you get to the car.” I looked between them both, my index finger pointing at them. They nodded and chuckled at me.

“We will. I’ve called the car. Now go. Have fun.” Lauren hugged me.

I got in through my door, kicked off my shoes and changed into pyjamas. Morgan was the only thing on my mind. I couldn’t stop thinking about him. I picked up my phone and texted him.

A: Hey, I’m home early. You still up?

I didn’t expect him to be, it was gone midnight, but he replied almost instantly.

M: Why are you home early? Are you okay?
