She was trying so hard not to laugh. Even though she was addressing my question, she was looking at Alley when she said, “It’s just Alley’s turn to get noodled.”

“What the heck,” Landon said, turning to his wife. “Noodled?”

Alley said, “I’ll explain when we are alone.”

The women were all laughing their asses off.

Then Alley pinned my woman with a stare. “Looks like you’re going to reap the benefits of my favor too.”

Lake grabbed my hand to pull me out the door. “And like Teal said, I’m gonna use my time wisely.”

Before shutting the door I heard Landon say to his wife, “You girls are crazy.”

And Alley said, “Just wait, you haven’t seen anything yet.”

Lake was cracking up all the way to the car. Once inside and driving toward home, I said, “Okay spill.”

She began telling me all about when she first arrived at the house and Alley was pouting that she didn’t get to boink her man before Teal showed up, but how when she had gotten there Alley told her she knew she got noodled.

I glanced at her with raised brows for a second before turning back to the road. “So basically you ladies are calling your man’s cock a noodle?”

Lake giggled and the sound went straight to my said noodle.

“Just to be clear, I set all the ladies straight.”

Now I was really curious. “You did huh? How exactly did you do that, sweetheart?”

Briefly glancing at her again, she had a triumphant smile on her face. “I simply told them you were more like a long, fat, all beef sausage.”

I choked as a deep chuckle ripped from my chest.

“Thanks, babe. You’re the best.”

She placed her palm on my thigh. “No problem. It’s not a lie since it’s true. And it’s not a hardship to brag about my man.” Her hand moved farther up my leg until her fingers grazed the bulge in my pants, growing bigger by the minute.

“I might have to double check I was accurate with my description when we get home,” she said seductively.

It all clicked then. Alley’s comment about Lake reaping the benefits too.

“Accuracy is good. I’m glad to help,” I told her.

We just had to make it home before I exploded in my pants like some teenage boy.

Chapter Forty-One

LAKE

I shattered in his arms.

My body trembled from our lovemaking. Bronson knew just how to make my body sing with pleasure. When he slipped out, a whimper slid past my quivering lips. It was hard to lose the connection but I knew we had dinner plans.

“We should probably get ready for our date,” he said, rolling to his back, but taking me with him so I was draped over his chiseled chest.

I smiled up at him. “This is the date, we just did it backwards.”

After dropping Stormi off with River as we’d planned, we headed back to our place to get ready, but unsurprisingly, we got sidetracked. It wasn’t hard to do with Bronson. The man could just walk up and tell me hi and I’d melt into a sappy puddle of goo.

And it wasn’t just that he was a master at working my body, a bit of a dirty talker, and knew every inch of me like it was his own, but my husband was a lover. He was sweet, caring, considerate, and gentle a lot of the time too.
