She did a little spin, making the skirt flare a bit, and he groaned.
“I was hoping you'd like it,” she quipped.
“Fuck yeah I do.But we're going to have to take your car. There's no way in hell you're getting on my bike dressed like that. You'll freeze before we get to where we're going. Not to mention you'd be flashing your ass cheeks at other drivers, and I'm theonlyone allowed to see that when you're not at work,” he growled.
Sophia laughed softly and he wanted to kiss her.
“That's why I brought a pair of leggings. They'll slide right over the thigh highs.I'll just remove them when we get where we're going and shove them into a saddle bag,” she said and proceeded to prove it.
“Damn. You thought of everything, didn't you?”
“I do try,” she replied with a grin.
“Come on, beautiful, we've got a date to get started.”
He took her hand and led her to his bike where he handed her a helmet and climbed on.Once she'd joined him, he drove them to the hotel.
“A hotel?Really?”Sophia asked, a frown marring her pretty face.
“Just trust me,” he told her and supported her while she removed the leggings. Then he offered her his arm and led her inside.
The small gasp she made when they entered the room had him looking at her.
“This… oh, wow. This is beautiful, Axel,” she breathed.
“I hoped you'd like it,” he said and hit the button on the control in his pocket to turn the music on.
“Music too?You really went all out.”
“I wanted tonight to be special," he replied.
He held her hand as she wandered around to admire the flowers before they reached the gazebo.
He helped her with her chair before he removed the silver lid covering her plate.
“Careful with the plate warmer. It might be hot,” he told her before he removed the lid from his own plate and joined her.
“Thank you.I'll be careful. This looks delicious, Axel.”
He'd chosen filet mignon, an herb and garlic orzo, and grilled asparagus for their meal. There were also warm sweet rolls and tiramisu for dessert.
“I also took the liberty of making us drinks.Even though this is a romantic dinner, I'm not a fan of wine.”
He opened a decanter and poured a light purple liquid into her glass.
“What on earth is that?”she questioned.
“It's an Aviation. It has crème de violette, which is a liqueur made from the violet flower. There's also gin, maraschino cherry liqueur, and lemon juice in it,” he informed her.
“Oh.That sounds tasty,” she said and hummed after taking a sip.“That's yummy.”
“Glad you approve.”He poured his own drink and settled in to enjoy their meal.
The soft moan she made with her first bite had him shifting himself in his pants.Damn was that sound a turn on.
“That good, huh?"he teased before he took a bite himself.
“Uh, yeah. This steak is so soft and juicy. It's delicious,” she replied.“What kind of steak is it?”
