My eyebrow rose. “Um…”

They looked at each other before a burst of laughter left them.

“Not to each other.” Brady shook his head. “Cam would definitely not approve of that.”

“Have you met your father?” Shane winced. “I think he would throw me in a cage first before that ever happened.”

“I do not want to know what you and my father do.” Brady gagged.

“So, when are the big days?” Presley asked, ignoring the banter between our friends.

“We’re actually going to do a double wedding.” Brady hooked his arm around Shane’s shoulders. “I know. You’re probably thinking it’s weird since we used to…well, you know.”

“Given our history, Brady talked to Cam, and I talked to Rhett and we told them we wanted to share this day together,” Shane added.

“That makes sense.” Or that was what I told them. Really, I didn’t get it. Brady and Shane slept together for a while before they both went their separate ways and found their true loves. Whatever worked for them, I would support them. Even if all I could think about was Nicky being back at home in the bed we shared. I woke up that morning to my cock deep in his mouth. It turned into a quick fuck before we had to start our day. We had officially been living together for just over a month and most mornings were like that.

When Jasmine, one of our waitresses, placed fresh coffees in front of each of us, we thanked her and drank in silence.

“I want to start trying to bake with coffee,” I blurted, breaking the comfortable silence between us.

My friends looked at me.

“Really?” Shane took a sip from his coffee mug, staring into the dark brew like he could see his future. “That actually might not be a bad idea. They have cake recipes and other baked goods that involve coffee. Maybe we can try something new.”

“Donuts, muffins. We could have items that have a lot of coffee in them and some that only have a little bit.” Presley pulled his phone out of his jeans pocket. “I’m taking notes.”

Brady leaned closer to him and pointed at his cell. “Add croissants to that list too.”

I chuckled, watching my best friends run with the idea I gave them.

“I still can’t believe you’re marrying my dad,” Brady told Shane an hour later. We had come up with quite thelist of food items to try to bake coffee with. I wasn’t sure if it would work but it would be a fun challenge.

“I know.” Shane gave him a small smile, both Presley and I knowing what that meant. Now that Shane and Brady were no longer a thing, I was sure they weren’t as close as they used to be. They never said but you could sense it in the way they were with each other.

“Now we just need Presley to find someone and then we could all go on a giant group date,” Brady joked.

Presley scoffed. “Not gonna happen.”

“That’s what your brother said,” I pointed out.

“It’s different with him,” he began. “You two were meant to be together. I don’t have anyone like that.”

“Well, if you want to stay single for a while or even for the rest of your life, I support you.” I frowned when I realized that my cup was empty.

“Thanks,” Presley muttered.

Before we could discuss any more on Presley’s lack of a love life, the hairs on the back of my neck tingled.

I looked over my shoulder, finding Nicky walking toward me. I grinned, staring up at him as he approached.

“Hey guys,” he greeted my friends. “Hey, lover.” He cupped the side of my throat, pushing my head back with his thumb beneath my jaw.

“Hey,” I breathed as his lips came down hard on mine.

Even though it wasn’t indecent, it sent blood pumping througheveryinch of my dick.

“Can I steal you away?” he asked no one in particular and kept his eyes on mine.
