I pulled off my overcoat and slung it on the back of the leather couch, then crossed to the dry bar in front of the window. "Marcus is done; have you found evidence of anyone else acting as a mole?"

"No."

"Are you sure?"

"Are you asking because you know something I don't, or because you're riding my dick?"

I turned around with a short glass of whiskey to find Caden leaning against the open door with his arms folded over his chest. "I don't know anything unless you tell me you've found new information. I just want to be absolutely positive that the lieutenants understand I’ll fuck their ass raw if I find another mole."

"Understood."

"Good."

"Anything else?"

I threw back the whiskey and savored the warm slide of it down my throat. "You got dinner plans?"

"Are you asking me on a date?"

Smirking, I said, "Guess so, col ceathrar. Why, you got a skirt waitin'?"

"No, nothing like that." He uncrossed his arms. "Sure, let's have dinner."

"Logan!"

Logan appeared in the doorway next to Caden when I called his name.

"Let's have dinner. It's been forever since the three of us did anything."

"Gimme a break. All I saw was the two a you the entire time in Chester. Except when Burke decided to disappear."

I felt my façade slipping as Caden laughed. "Talk about havin' a skirt waitin'."

"Yeah, yeah, let's have a laugh about it. Either of you get laid lately?"

Logan slapped a hand over his heart. "Damn, boss, that hurt me right here."

"Are we eating here or heading out, cuz I know a place where we can get plenty of female attention." Caden wiggled his eyebrows. "Short skirts, shorter shirts, and lots of booze."

"I thought you had your eye on someone," I said, sitting behind my desk and pulling a stack of papers over.

"I do, but she ain't convinced I'm the one." Caden rolled his eyes.

"You won't prove it to her by hanging out at a strip club," Logan pointed out.

"Since he's the only one of us who's married, you should listen to him, Caden."

Caden moved further into the room and sat in one of the two chairs facing my desk. "She's so hot, but she's got a big mouth. I'm not sure she'd fit in."

"Fit in where, the crime syndicate or with the Gallagher women?" I asked.

Caden glanced at Logan, then back at me. "I think Anna would hate her, and your Ma would pretend she's great but secretly think she's trashy."

"Is she trashy?" Logan asked mildly.

Caden scowled. "No, but loud and not ladylike."

"So the exact opposite of my exalted sister." I smiled at the thought of Anna.
