“I said you can’t. No one can. You wouldn’t understand.”

“That’s bullshit.” He walked over to Wolf, who shifted away from him again. “You think I haven’t had it rough? I fought for everything, everything, I have today. Including my friends.”

“But everyone likes you.”

“Yeah? You think so? I know how I have to act,” he said bitterly. “Always have a smile, no matter what. No matter how much it hurts.”

Wolf grew still and intent. “Did people hurt you?”

He shrugged. “My feelings. Guys I liked, who I thought were friends, only wanted to fuck me. And I wanted to be liked so badly, I figured why not?”

“So that’s why you sleep around? To be liked?”

His anger overflowed, and he snapped at Wolf. “Yeah. You said you were jealous of me in college? That’s funny. I bet you had tons of friends at home and money to burn. You don’t know what it’s like to want to belong—”

Wolf made a pained sound. “You haven’t a clue.”

“Then give me one. Make me understand.” Spencer grabbed him by the shoulders, feeling the hard muscles tense beneath his fingertips. “What don’t I have a clue about?”

Wolf trembled, and Spencer watched those eyes glittering and his lips part as his breathing accelerated.

“Anything. Everything.”

“Talk to me, Wolf.”

“I can’t,” he whispered, the words ripping from his mouth. “I can’t.”

“Yes.” Spencer kissed him, swallowing Wolf’s protests. “Yes, you can.”

Wolf pushed his hands off, then holding him by the wrists, pulled him close, crushing their lips together. Spencer molded himself to Wolf, winding his arms around his neck, and opened his mouth, thrusting his tongue to meet Wolf’s.

“I’m at work…this can’t happen,” Wolf gasped, but he cupped Spencer’s ass and ground their pelvises together.

“I know. It can’t.” Spencer reached between them, undid the button on Wolf’s pants, and drew down his zipper. The suit pants slid to Wolf’s hips, and Spencer fondled him.

“Spence, what the hell.” Wolf released a long, drawn-out groan as Spencer rubbed the hot shaft in his hand.

“Let go, Wolfie. Fuck my hand. Do it dirty. You need this.” Spencer continued to jerk his fist over Wolf’s erection, bringing their mouths together to seal their lips in a hot, frantic kiss.

Wolf whimpered, and that broken sound brought Spencer to the tipping point. He sucked Wolf’s tongue hard. His hand turned sticky with Wolf’s precome, and Wolf held him tight, almost desperately, hips thrusting.

“Now.Now.”

Wolf devoured his mouth, biting and sucking his lips while he spilled over Spencer’s hand. His body shook with the effort, and Spencer held him close, murmuring soft nonsense in his ear.

“My God. What the hell did you do to me?” Wolf’s lips moved against his neck, making Spencer smile to himself.

“I’m teaching you how to live.” With a final kiss to Wolf’s cheek, he let him go and slowly walked over to the desk to grab a few tissues and wipe off his hand. Wolf had hitched up his pants and zipped them closed. He remained standing by the wall, his head bowed, and Spencer wondered if he’d be asked to leave.

When he approached Wolf and stood before him, Wolf gave him a wan, tentative smile. Faster than he thought possible, Spencer wrapped his arms around Wolf and kissed his warm neck, feeling the rapidly beating pulse under his lips.

“Spencer.”

“Yeah?”

Wolf held him close and rubbed his back, and Spencer wanted to climb him like a tree, crawl inside him, drown in his scent…fuck, he was going insane over this man.

“My father died.”
