Zion smirks, “That’s Ghost, Thorn’s father. Come back from the dead to continue being a father. One that Thorn doesn’t think he needs anymore, and basically told him to fuck off.”

I missed what was said, but Thorn throws back his arm and with everything in him he punches his father, who in turn flies back, and slams into the wall.

Andy rushes to stand in front of Thorn and murmurs something quietly to him. Thorn looks at Andy and gives a small nod before turning and walking out the back of the shop. Andy turns on Ghost, and everyone can see how angry he is. “What made you think you could walk in here and announce you are Thorn’s father, and you want to have a relationship with him? Years too late, I might add. Do you have any idea what he has beenthrough? No, of course, you haven’t any idea. Now I suggest you get gone, and I’ll speak to Thorn and see if I can arrange a meeting where you can actually tell him where you have been, what you have been doing, and why you abandoned him.”

Ghost looks at Andy, then the rest of us. Making a decision, he walks over to the new reception counter that has been added to the room and picks up a pen. Jotting down his contact details Ghost hands them to Andy. Without another word, he walks out of the shop, and we all turn to look at Andy again.

“What? You’ve never seen a drama before…” Not waiting for us to say anything Andy walks out the back of the shop. I look at Zion, and we both shrug before heading out of the shop with Hellion and Chips behind us.

“That was fucked-up. Just turning up out of the blue like that. I’d have hit the fucker, too,” Hellion growls out as he straddles his hog.

“I suppose this is when a woman would roll her eyes and saymen!”I chuckle, and everyone laughs with me because we all know that’s exactly what a woman would say when a man fucks up.

“Are we going back to the clubhouse?” Chips asks.

“No, we are going to see my new hog. I bought it and haven’t seen it yet.” I straddle my hog, and pick up my helmet where it’s hanging from the handlebars.

Hellion grins, “I’m with you then, Breaker.”

Walking around my new hog, I can’t help but think I’ve got myself a beauty. A Road Glide that is stunning, and it’s obviously customized. It is exactly as the picture Smoker sent me looked. Black and silver make it look magnificent. I’m not sure nowabout even having the paint job I was thinking about because it’s stunning as it stands.

“If you don’t like it, I’ll buy it from you,” Chips mumbles.

Hellion and Zion step forward giving Chips a nasty look. “I’ll buy it.” “Fuck that, I’ll buy it.” They both state at the same time.

“I’m not selling, so you can all fuck off and find your own hogs. This one is mine, and it’s stayin’ mine.” I run my hands over the gas tank and grin. I’m going to leave her just as she is for a while, then maybe I’ll have the paint job I was thinking of.

Straddling the hog, I look at Smoker, who is grinning like a fool. “Get my old girl back to the clubhouse, Smoker.” When he gives me a nod I fire up my girl and take off, heading for the open road and getting a feel for her. I hear my brothers behind me and think about how good life has become. I am part of a great MC, a true brotherhood. I have a woman who I never would have thought I’d be lucky enough to catch. I have two hogs, and cash in the bank. All I need now is to get married and build us a house on the compound. Maybe next to Pres, that would piss him off. Having to live next door to me permanently has me chuckling.

CHAPTER 29

*~* Molly *~*

Breaker is looking at me with such a tender look in his eye that it has my heart beating much faster than a minute ago. I look at where he’s holding my hand as he places an engagement ring on my finger. It’s beautiful, and a tear tracks down my cheek.

“Don’t cry, babe. Do you like it?”

Swallowing the lump in my throat right before I throw my arms around Breaker's neck and kiss him thoroughly, tongues too. I let him know through this kiss how much I’m feeling for him.

“I love it,” I whisper after I let go of him, and take a small step back.

“Good. I thought it was stunning, and I’ve got the wedding bands that match, so we are all ready for the wedding.”

I look at him and frown. “Well, we are not all ready yet. You need to speak to Whack about marrying us, and we need to fancy up the clubhouse.”

“You want to get married at the clubhouse?” Now, I can see I’ve shocked him, and you know that has me giggling a little because it takes a bit to shock a biker.

“I do. I think it’ll be nice to fancy up the place and get married in the compound, then have an enormous party where everyone can just let loose and enjoy themselves. It’s not gone unnoticed that the trouble Carrie-Anne caused had everyone worried. Bri told me that the trouble with the Broken Cobras MC is now calm, but it may not stay that way. It’ll be good for everyone just to have a moment of fun, don’t you think?” I ask and hope he agrees.

“I think it’s a fucking fantastic idea. The brothers will appreciate you doing this, babe. I’ll speak to Whack today, and you organize with Bri and Marcia what you are doing with the place. But make sure you tell Whack, or ask if you can do whatever you decide. We don’t want him throwing a wrench in the works at the last minute.” Breaker kisses the end of my nose, then my lips right before slapping my ass and whistling while he walks out the front door.

Walking into the practice twenty minutes after Breaker left, I give a bright smile to Barbara, who is already behind the reception desk. “Good morning, Molly.”

“Good morning, Barbara.” I stop in front of the reception desk and place my purse under my armpit while I speak with her. “How are things working out with Trudy?”

“Oh, she is great. You know she has streamlined our bookings system, and it works much better. Come and look.”

I walk around the reception desk and study the computer system as Barbara explains the changes that have been made. She goes into detail about how much simpler the system is, and how it has calculated the time a new patient will need compared to a patient who has been seen previously.
