“Yanna, shut up. The only person that acts like Kas isyou. She has been a little weird the past few days, though. When we get back from the reception, I’ll see what’s up with her.”

“Good. Damn, I was about to say let me grab my phone, forgetting I don’t have one. You think we have a minute to look for it? I know it has to be around her somewhere.

“No, we don’t have time. You don’t need no phone anyway.”

Troi grabbed Yanna’s hand and pulled her toward the door so they could finally be on the way to meet who they both hopedwould be new friends. They were both excited for the night ahead, but neither of them could fathom just how eventful the night would be.

After hours of shopping with the girls and taking nearly as long for everyone to get dressed, they were out the door on their way to Maya and Logan’s reception. Troi and Onyx had made sure they’d gotten Kian down before leaving so that Layla could have a peaceful night. Onyx’s trusted security was in the guest house, so if she needed some alone time, they’d happily step in. The group had finally arrived at the beachfront venue where the reception was being held and was taking the walk down the sidewalk that led to the building. Troi and Yanna led the charge while the men fell closely behind. Kas’ eyes were glued to Yanna, and he was already counting down the time until he could get her back home.

“Aye, Jaiyanna.”

“Yes, Kas?” She answered without turning around.

“That dress you wearing is looking very much like you need yo ass ate.”

“This nigga.” Quan uttered, him and Kalil snickering at their cousin’s lack of couth.

“Oh my gosh,” Troi stated with a gasp, trying to make sure no one within earshot heard him. Onyx just shook his head because nothing his brother and Yanna said or did surprised him anymore.

Yanna was wearing a stunning canary-yellow gown that was perfect for a formal beach celebration. The light, flowing fabric moved like ocean waves with every step she took, while ruffles cascaded down the sides, drawing attention to her curves. Theasymmetrical design, with its high slit, showed off her thick, toned leg, adding a bold and undeniably sexy touch. The cutouts on the sides revealed just enough skin to make the dress feel modern and daring, amplifying her confident allure.

The bright yellow color popped beautifully against the backdrop of sand and ocean, complementing her glowing skin. The train trailed softly behind her, adding a touch of effortless elegance to the sultry vibe of the dress. Yanna embodied the spirit of a seaside celebration, radiating both beauty and sensuality with every move. The yellow hibiscus pinned on the side of her short, platinum blonde hair.

“I mean, I’m sure there’s an empty room or closet or something in there.”

“Man, hell nah, Kas act like you got some kind of sense and behave yo self, nigga.”

“Ugh, there he go with thatbehaveshit. Kas, are you a puppy?”

“More like a dog, Yanna Boo.”

“You heard what I said though, both of y’all.”

“Both of y’all.” Kas mocked. Dodging the punch his brother attempted to land on his arm.

“Psst, Kas.” Quan tried to whisper but was doing an awful job.

“What?”

“Take this shit, it’s making me nervous.”

Kas glanced down to see Quan holding out Yanna’s phone to him. “Nigga, why the…” he hurriedly snatched the phone from Quan’s hand and hid it behind his back. “Why the fuck would you just pull the shit out when she less than 50 feet away?”

“I just fucking told you it was making me nervous. I don’t want no smoke with her lil’ ass. You still ain’t get her to take the video down?”

“I ain’t had no time to call her back yet without Yanna catching my ass. The video still up though because I just seen another fucking blog tag me in a post about it.”

“So you hiding her phone and shit for nothing. Even when ole’ girl take the video down, there’s still gone be people talking about it.”

“I know that. I’m just trying to at least enjoy the rest of this trip before she finds out. Y’all see we been getting along and I’m trying to hold on to that for a lil’ while longer.”

“You sound like you in an abusive relationship. Gone ‘head and face the music. Ain’t no doubt that she gone act a fool for a lil’ bit, but you already know she ain’t gone stop fucking with you.”

“I know that, but still… Kalil, hold the phone until we dip. I’ll get it from you when we land back in VA.”

“Hell nah, man, I ain’t trying to be into it with Yanna rowdy ass.”

“Stop acting like you scared and just put the shit in yo pocket,” Kas whispered harshly, shoving the phone into Kalil’s hand without waiting for him to respond. Kalil shoved the phone in his pocket just as Yanna turned and reached her handout for Kas to join her.
