Yanna’s laughter filled the room because she knew he was dead serious. “But Maya”
“Fuck her too.”
“Nooo, if I make us late, I’mma have to hear Troi mouth, which mean you gone have to hear Onyx’s mouth. Who wants to hear all that shit?”
“Yea, you right. I damn sure ain’t trying to hear that nigga complaining all day, go ‘head.” Kas climbed off Yanna, allowing her to get up off the bed. The sight of her curves covered only in a thong caused Kas’ teeth to sink into his bottom lip before slapping her ass. “Aye, you owe me tonight when we get back from that reception thing, though.”
“I got you. I’m doing handstands, splits, all that.”
“And I get to leave it in.”
“Unh uh, you see how bad Kian is, don’t you?”
“Yea, bad as hell.”
“Now imagineourchild.”
Kas thought about it for a moment, deducing that a child with both he and Yanna’s DNA would surely be a handful. “Yea, you right. We’d probably have to sedate that lil’ muh’fucka or some shit.”
“Boy, don’t call my baby no muh’fucka.”
“My bad.” He smiled at her, biting into his lip and making his dimples pop. Kas was fully aware that his dimples were an attribute of his that made Yanna weak.
“Stop, you know exactly what you’re doing. You know what that smile makes me want to do, and I don’t have time for that right now.”
“Sexy ass, come on, hurry up and get in the shower, I’m coming too so I can show you something.”
Yanna squealed when Kas lifted her, slapping her ass while making way to his bathroom.
Yanna tossed her crossbody bag over her shoulder as she jogged down the stairs. The quick fifteen-minute shower she was supposed to take took well over thirty due to her and Kas’ extracurricular activities. Troi was already ready, standing at the bottom of the stairs with her arms folded across her chest, tapping her foot against the wood floors.
“Really? Y’all couldn’t wait a few damn hours to fuck on each other?”
“I mean…” Yanna started, slowly twirling in a circle when she reached the bottom of the step. “Look at me, of course hecouldn’t wait. And I know you ain’t talking the way you and Onyx be jumping each other’s bones every couple of hours.”
“Shut the hell up.” Troi laughed as Layla descended the stairs.
“Where y’all going looking cute?” Layla questioned.
“About to go out and do some shopping on the island.”
“Oh, y’all little heifers ain’t have to invite me to go shopping.”
“Now you already know you can go wherever we go, and you don’t need no invitations to do so. You already dressed, so go grab your shoes. Our ride is pulling up now.”
“Alright, let me grab my shoes and bag, give me a second.”
“Okay, and I’m going to text Maya and let her know we’re running like five minutes behind.”
“M-Maya?”
“Yea, you remember the pretty girl we met at the Bridgetown Market? We ran into her and her people at a party last night.”
“Oh, o-okay, well, you know what, on second thought y’all can just gone on without me. I had forgot that I um, I had told Kian I’d take him down to the beach to build sandcastles.” Without another word, Layla took off running back up the stairs just as their driver pulled up.
“What the hell?”
“That lady starting to act like her son… the youngest one, and that’s not a good thing.”
